As a mom, and as someone who has worked in child development for over 15 years, including nearly five years at Bing Nursery School at Stanford, where the most advanced, research-based approaches to early childhood development are practiced. I recognize excellence when I see it. Maria and Joana truly embody that same philosophy. Their approach is warm, affectionate, and thoughtfully child-centered. The environment is relaxed and nurturing, far from a rigid or overly structured setting. They beautifully incorporate Montessori principles along with the Bing philosophy that "playing is serious work." The children are constantly engaged in creative, hands-on learning, with plenty of STEM-based activities throughout the day. What also stands out is the level of communication and transparency. They share pictures and videos all day long, allowing parents to feel connected and reassured. It's clear the children are thriving. The meals are another highlight: incredibly healthy, balanced, and thoughtfully prepared. My daughter, who used to struggle with food, is now excited to eat! The children sit together at a pleasant table and enjoy a variety of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and proteins everything is nutritious, creative, and appealing. Most importantly, the care they give is truly above and beyond. Every child feels seen, loved, and valued. My daughter literally counts the minutes to go back to her "Little Star family"and sometimes even cries when it's time to leave because she wants to keep playing. That says everything. We've seen such beautiful growth in her cognitive and emotional development in a short time. As parents, we couldn't feel more at peace or more grateful. If you have the opportunity, choose Little Star for your child. It is a truly special place.

Yes, with all the guilt I felt, I felt strongly and needed to start providing for myself and my little one. So I was referred to this place when my 3 year old was having a hard time adjusting being away from both my partner and I. Angel and Gio are rockstars! They have been a blessing to myself and my little one who continues to grow more knowledgeable. Every time I drop him off, he's already rushing to go inside or reaching for Gio to carry him. It's the sweetest thing to see him attached to another individual outside of myself or my partner. They are as more involved with my child's upbringing than myself. And that's okay. I know in the long haul for development purposes that this was the right choice. They were reasonable and extremely flexible with us. I would recommend this place 1000% over and that's because they send me memos, notes, lovely pictures of how my child is doing. Always updating me and ensuring that I'm involved with things that could help with his development. They go above and beyond to ensure your child is always getting the best out of their day, with play time, healthy home cooked meals and ensuring they at least get 30-1hr worths nap and I just don't know how they do it all, but they do because they are compassionate human beings who love our little one and you could totally tell by the way they handle their daycare. Lots of love towards these two!

When our daughter was ready to potty train, Elida essentially did it all for us - all we had to do was support proper bathroom habits at home. There is a lot of hands-on learning, assisting the children in writing, recognizing letters, and tracing to prepare them greatly for when they attend school. Both our daughter and son are constantly impressing us with just how much they are able to do - such as writing the alphabet, drawing, using scissors safely, and transitioning to cups. Elida also provides healthy home-cooked meals and snacks every day, where the children all eat together and practice utensil usage. The daycare room is set up much like a classroom, with tables and areas dedicated to learning. There is also an expansive backyard, filled with many safe toys for the children to utilize together.
