Claudia has been there for me through some of the darkest and most difficult moments of my life. There have been times when I felt completely overwhelmed and defeated, and somehow Claudia was always there. Not just as my attorney, but as someone I could actually talk to and who would listen. One of the things I will always appreciate about Claudia is how accessible she has been. There have been so many times when I needed to speak with her outside of what you would normally consider "office hours," and she still made herself available to me. When you're going through something as stressful and personal as a family court case, knowing that you can reach the person who is fighting for you makes a bigger difference than I can put into words. Claudia has also fought incredibly hard for me as a father. She was instrumental in helping me establish my 50/50 timesharing with my son, and over the years she has helped me successfully defend myself against numerous false allegations that were brought against me in court. She never just accepted accusations at face value. She listened to me, looked at the facts, prepared, and fought to make sure the truth was heard. And this isn't something that only I feel. My parents and my family have seen everything I've gone through over the years, and they are incredibly grateful for Claudia as well. She has become someone my family genuinely loves, respects, and appreciates because they have seen firsthand how much she has done for me and how much she has cared. After 10 years, I can honestly say that I don't just respect Claudia as an attorney--I admire her as a person. She has earned my trust over and over again. She has stood beside me during some of the hardest chapters of my life, and she has never made me feel like I was facing those moments alone. There are attorneys who represent you, and then there are attorneys who truly fight for you. Claudia is the latter. She did not work my case, she barely communicated or responded to me most of the time, made me send a ridiculous amount of emails, texts, and calls to get any type of response out of her. After weeks, sometimes over a month, I would be forced to try following-up again to ask about the updates and particulars about my case. After avoiding me for weeks at a time, I get nothing but excuses, her missing appointments and meetings and document deadlines with no reasonable answer as to why. The entire time while I'm fighting this custody battle for my daughter... i have her lack of communication, feeding me false hope, finance siphoning, and her wanna-be Instagram influencer posts on "how to be a good lawyer" or "how to get through a custody battle" while she's ignoring me and my situation. I now have been forced to retain a new lawyer and was informed as to how objectively terrible her method and performance was. I was at risk of my case being dismissed, and all the work I've done thus far being destroyed due to a document filing deadline that she/we/I almost missed due to the lack of communication from Claudia. I rushed to get them the $3,500 and they charged a fee of $98 (quickest way was a credit card and, mind you, we were already in the mediation). They did not let me know there would be a fee. I feel they over bill and pad their time. It took the paralegal an hour to send 4 emails and 2 letters. I questioned all of this and nothing. I would steer clear of them as the things they stated about my case were not correct. Maybe I was giving to a lawyer without a lot of experience? I would never use them again.
