Look it up. 48 hours is the least amount of time you have to wait. Perhaps the paperwork was required by your insurance. I also worked in billing insurances for 10 years. They are the guardians of the medical gate. Not the doctors. They even make up a panel of patients to help them be better. Orion policies are practical and well thought out. Every office is short staffed-even in 2018. They don't keep you on purpose. Maybe they had a patient who required a longer time with the doctor and that pushes them behind. But, if it's you who needs the longer time do you want them to leave because your time is up and your not done? I don't throw around I am an RN or use it to make your point. You are not accurate. Having a rude receptionist has never happened to me but even if it had, I would have just asked if they were having a hard day. They are humans too. They communicate very well. And they go above and beyond. I have seen it and experienced it myself. If anyone has the right to complain, it would be a dying patient. And I am and would never, ever complain about my care at this office. Do you know Corwell is a cooperation? Not even medical. That's the problem-and people who aren't informed.

When it finally healed, it ended up leaving a scar the size of a dime. Third visit, Dr. Turner came in and her solution was Botox! I was NOT going to trust them with more injections on my face after what had happened. Plus I was NOT going to pay for further treatment. Needless to say I was very upset! I stumbled on the Yelp page after looking up Dr. Snyder's office number. I had to respond to the…read moreterrible reviews from years back. I see Dr. Snyder, not Dr. Noroyan. He's very friendly, patient, sympathetic, and listens well. He's prompt, so there is no sitting in a waiting room for an hour. When I had to decide on surgery last year, he explained every step of the procedure, the cost, the time I would be under anesthesia, possible complications, recovery, and when I would be back to "normal." I'm too old for normal. Anyway, he warned that he's conservative with Achilles repair. Others might say recovery is six weeks, but he gives it seven to eight weeks. After hearing the horror story (not told by the doctor) of a marathoner who insisted on just five weeks of recovery, I deeply appreciate his caution. I know he spoke with my husband after surgery, and it must have been thorough because my husband knew everything that was happening to me before I did, including excessive thirst. Another amazing thing about this office is that when my husband was laid off at the beginning of the pandemic, they didn't hound me to pay my bill. They didn't send a bill collector or wreck my credit. They were wonderful about it. Elizabeth and Tonya are fun and laugh at my jokes. It's unusual to have everyone in a doctor's office be nice and personable, but this small group of people gets along with each other and with patients very well. I highly recommend Dr. Tim Snyder at Associated Foot Clinic in Lake Orion. He's a great doctor who will help you get back on your feet (bah-dum-tiss!).

I paid the $142.35 to Women's Excellence unknowingly and thought I was paying towards my deductible. When I met my deductible and out of pocket with Cigna Health in early spring I received 3 other bills from Women's Excellence. I called the insurance company to get an understanding of the issue as I should not have any more in-network medical bills for the remaining year. Cigna informed me that Women's Excellence provides an invalid mail address and tax ID. I worked with Women's Excellence to resolve the issue with 3 of the bills I received but the 4th bill, the original one, I paid was not resolved. I am owed $142.35. I have been trying to work with Women's Excellence with this issue for months now and not making any progress. When I call I either get voice mail and no one returns my calls or when I actually do speak to someone I only get "we are working on it." Excuse after excuse. I also worked with a company that has a partnership with Cigan Health called Zellis and they too are not able to get ahold of anyone for help at Women's Excellence. Issue #2 - I submitted a payment thru a company called InstaMed for $25 to be applied to my acct. It was never applied to my acct but it was cashed by Women's Excellence. I'm also seeking to get my $25 back as well. InstaMed also has called to try to speak to someone with no response back. I would recommend going elsewhere to save yourself all the headache.
