Low and behold, a huge gorge with gorgeous waterfalls! It took a little bit to find the exact parking area in this expansive metro park that was closest to the falls, but once we did it was super easy. It is hard to believe this oasis exists in the suburbs of Cleveland! Park at the Vidaduct park, parkinglot for easiest access to the falls. There is a short, wide and paved trail down to an overlook of the falls or if you have hiking shoes/boots on you can walk off the path and go right down to the water level. There are cool educational signs as you walk down the trail outlining the history of the area. It is clean and well maintained. The park is dog friendly with various doggy bag stations. Pets must be leashed at all times. The parking lot does have lights at night, but the trail does not. This is worth stopping by just for the falls and gorge alone, but the rest of this huge metro park looks to be pretty spectacular as well!

WHAT TO DO -- If you have been snuggled up inside a lot during COVID-19 and want to get out, then Bedford Reservation is the place. Hiking paths, picnic sites, golf, waterfalls, etc. HIKING -- I really enjoyed my hike with the group of ladies that I went with back in September 2020. The hiking paths seemed clear enough and easy to navigate although our hike was short. Most people venture out here for short and long hikes. I especially loved viewing the small WATERFALLS at the reservation. To summarize, per the website: "This reservation features a deep gorge -- declared a National Natural Landmark -- carved out by Tinker's Creek, with picturesque vistas and waterfalls." If you enjoy the great outdoors and being in mother nature, then visit Bedford Reservation today. If you live in downtown Cleveland then the drive from downtown to the reservation is about 30 minutes. **** - 42/150 total reviews in 2022 - 520 total overall Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 6 April 2022

The major kicker is that it's only a 9 hole course. Anytime you have to play a course twice to hit 18 holes, it's just not the same. Similar to Sims, you've got shots right along the lake, with hole #4 potentially a dangerous shot away from landing on the beach. The course has some elevation changes, though it doesn't utilize it the max. It can be quite windy, but a good singles score is 6-10 down on 18 holes with the longest hole being ~400 feet.
