We had a disabled veteran traveling with us & he informed us that we get in free & that he gets a free park pass that gets him & his party in free to any national park & half off fees when applicable. That was so helpful! The welcome center is very clean with the best bathrooms in the park. There's a small gift shop with passports & patches, if you collect them. The parking lots have compost toilets which can vary in cleanliness. They have sanitizing stations, but no water or showers. The beach is very nice & was not heavily populated while we were there. There is a nude beach as well, but we stayed away. Ha! The sand is not your average sand. It is shells. It is very sticky & takes a sticky brush to remove. BUT!! This makes it an awesome beach for shelling! We found tons of whole conch shells! There is a lot of wildlife including manatees in the summer. We saw a ton of armadillos & some dolphins. It's just a fun time! We have been back twice & both times were great. We're going back again soon. *The beaches have handicap access. They have viewing areas without going into the sand. There are a lot of places to fish & kayak. Take a cooler & spend the day! No glass or pets allowed.*

It was a great park with statues to memorialize the moments when America left our planet and ventured amongst the stars. What an amazing accomplishment, especially considering less than a century prior to that the idea of flight at all was deemed impossible. I would definitely recommend a visit to Space View Park if you are in the Titusville, Florida area. I will give this park five stars.

Anyway, they have picnic tables that have a roof above it. I guess a pavilion, but almost all of them are single picnic tables, so let's call them personal pavilions. They also have a children's playground.

The Indian River offers great views of many launch pads & the Vehicle Assembly Building, as well as playful dolphins & other wildlife. Both pads of Launch Complex 39 are easily visible from Manzo Park, which is why I've been here to watch three launches. Public bathrooms are available when the park is open, though often I have found toilet paper to be lacking. This was again the case on my last visit, though soap & paper towels were sufficient. The ladies' restroom has 2 stalls and one sink. Note, the facilities don't have A/C or heat. Maybe 5 years ago, hubs & I were driving through Titusville, after a launch we were there to see had been scrubbed that day, and we passed this park. I remembered the view, but had never visited not related to a launch. So we stopped. Though we were there less than an hour, I had never seen so many dolphins at one time! They were clearly frolicking & I thoroughly enjoyed watching. My first visit to this park was on Friday, May 14 2010 for STS-132, which was originally scheduled to be the last launch of Space Shuttle Atlantis (now resting at KSCVC). My sister & I underestimated traffic and ended up on US 1 very close to launch time. Spotting this park, she quickly pulled onto a residential side street to park, & we briskly walked over to the park, with mere minutes to spare. Our view of 39-A was as perfect as possible from Titusville! What an amazing view... And the SOUND! So about a year later, on Friday, July 8, 2011, I knew I had to see the final Space Shuttle launch in-person. Announced a few months after the launch I'd witnessed in 2010, this was actually Atlantis' last flight, as well as the final mission of the space shuttle program. Again launching from LC 39-A, STS-135 would be the last launch of humans from US soil for nearly 9 years. Astronaut Doug Hurley was on this flight, though no one knew then that he would help usher in the next generation of human-rated launch vehicles, built by a company in the private sector. The last Saturday in May 2020, we ended up parking near Manzo Park to watch #LaunchAmerica, SpaceX's first attempt at a crewed launch. OK, second attempt, since Wednesday's launch was scrubbed due to lightning in the vicinity. BUT, this was the first launch of humans from US soil since the Space Shuttle program had ended. My daughter rode with me, and my friend followed in her own car to maintain social distancing. We found a spot for $10 each to park with easy exiting & camera surveillance, right across US 1 from Manzo Park. About 20 minutes before launch, we donned our PPE & walked the half block to watch. The park was packed with excited spectators, and we were not disappointed that day... another great view of a flawless launch! Even though this was a smallish Falcon 9 rocket, the sound was just as amazing as it rolled across the water in waves. William J Manzo Memorial Park is obviously one of my favorite vantage points for watching a launch from Titusville. And this park is also a quiet respite on non-launch days in any season. Of course, I'll be back.

There's an area where they have multiple soccer fields. There's an area where they have multiple baseball fields and practice areas. There's also a public bathroom over by the soccer fields. The walking trails here are paved path and they loop all around the park. Park as miles of walking path. In the back area of the park you will find a pretty tall observation tower which you can get a really good view of the native Florida railway. There's also a few Bridges going over lakes which are prefabricated metal bridges that are fun to walk over and stare into the water. I went on a fairly rainy day and the wildlife was mostly all birds. I saw regular ducks and a lot of different waterfall that I'm unfamiliar with. I also spotted an alligator who was floating around one of the main lakes.

Today with the frequent rocket launches by SpaceX and others finding a parking space and a good line of sight is fairly easy no matter the launch time, of course some launches are more popular than other, human flights or heavy lift rockets seem to attract more viewers but no where near the days when they were launching the space shuttles especially those unforgettable night launches. This park provides plenty of shade and also has restrooms which is a big plus and believe it or not they are usually well maintained. I have a great view from my home located on the Intracoastal Canal a.k.a. the Indian River north of here but this view is exceptional and a must do if your in the area and want to see history in the making...

You do need to sign in at the front desk. Sometimes there is someone at the desk to greet you. There are accessible restrooms inside the main building. There are a few different trials, in which all are marked. Throughout the trials, there are clear signs and markings as you navigate your way through the sanctuary. I love the coquina trial. There are pretty views and I have seen on occasion turtles on my walks.

This is a fairly large Park!…read more There's a large lake here which I'm not sure they allow swimming. I did get to observe a few wild alligators in this pond. There's a pathway they can walk around the lake which has a few docks that you can stand out to look off of or fish. This park has public bathrooms the same very clean Fair Park that seems kind of far out. The park also has a play area for young kids with monkey bars and slides and swings. Was also large areas of open grass where kids and adults can play. You could probably spend an entire day just explore in this park. I did observe animals there so there's a pet friendly Park however I would keep the animals away from the water just to be safe.

A company called Calypso Kayaking thar rents canoes out of here. The launch area can be a little difficult if you're not super agile or if your paddle board is heavy - the best way I can describe it is it's a sloped staircase made of wood planks and dirt (I think it was about 5-6 steps if I remember correctly). It wasn't difficult going down, however, I was using my friend's Bote SUP, which is pretty heavy and it was difficult for me to carry it up the steps especially after a difficult and physical paddle with windy conditions. If I was using a lighter board I don't think it would've have been too difficult for me. This park also has nice a cute little playground and clean restrooms that are open year round. There is a covered picnic area with grills. And the parking lot at both the launch area and near restrooms are paved. We were there at low tide and the water was very shallow in some areas - so shallow that we had to get off our SUPs at one point and pull them through the water a few feet so we didn't damage our fins. It was great having the shallow waters because we saw LOTS of stingrays, horseshoe crabs and fish! Also lots of water birds throughout our paddle! One of the islands that we stopped at had a nice beach area and beautiful dead tree that made for great photo ops! All in all, this is a great location to launch for SUP and kayak. We will definitely go back and hopefully see dolphins and/or manatees the next time!
