Saint Patrick!
This county is named after the patron saint of Ireland because of the huge number of Irish that settled here in San Patricio County when it was still part of Mexico. They were Catholic, just like the Mexicans who lived in this county before it was ever Texas seemed to get along!
Now, Sinton is the county seat, and there's not a whole lot of Irish that goes on around here. I'm not sure if there's an Irish pub.
You can go check out Portland, which isn't really known as being an Irish place. There's also Aransas Pass, Ingleside, and Sinton. It's a pretty county, with lots of wetlands and is along the Copano and Corpus Christi Bays. However, I worry that there are so many bail bondsmen in the county seat, Sinton. So don't have too much fun in this county.
