On my last trip to Italy we had a little extra time on our way to France and decided to stop off for a few nights in San Remo to relax. We found this very good value (just about 90 Euros a night only!) self-catered apartment right on the seaside with a beautiful little balcony and view. We had a good sized apartment with a full kitchen and the necessary utensils, pots, pans, etc. Granted we tended to only make breakfast at home after shopping at the nearby market which was an easy walk, but it was nice to have the kitchen. The bedroom was separated from the dining room area, and we were able to either eat at the dining room table or on the balcony depending on our mood. Lovely location, great view, very friendly staff, very well kept and clean, and an easy walk to the train station as well. Not a fancy schmancy place, but it was perfect for our little stopover for a few nights.

Sea and port views, clean apartments, wonderful staff and English speaking front desk was a really nice perk. You can't beat the location with walking distance to all the shops and sites not to mention the beach, rooftop lounge and free bikes to use. Would definitely stay here again!
