They tasted so fresh and flavorful. I know it sounds crazy, but try it with the spread that is made with crickets that they have on the table. It really added a nice touch to the sampling. Next time I am in town, I will definitely stop by for a full meal. The setting in the San Juan Market really adds to the experience.

They have their sandwich making down to a science here, and it really is a team effort. Even my Sever pitched in to help the guy who was cutting the big slab of porcina. In terms of the ambience, I would say that it's pretty average compared to most other places. I really wanted to include french fries with that torta, but I wasn't sure what kind of deep fry oil or grease they were using. I've been more in tune about eating healthy these days. The torta sandwich was at least 8" and not small by comparison to what I would find in my home country. All in all, a great fast lunch!

Although they don't have space to sit inside, the benches outside are super nice and they give you a little table. They also sell coffee and delicious desserts. Make sure you try the exótico de guayaba or the lemon pie with white chocolate. They are also a gourmet shop so you can buy bread, cheese, wine, and desserts. If you are near this area, I really recommend it.
