The tour is interesting - definitely a small operation trying to break into the business, but friendly people and informative (willing to entertain all your questions) I'm a purist of sorts - all the flavors of moonshine are interesting, and good, but the Tennessee Sam whisky is where it's at. Smooth and pure and good. Just give me a shot of this and I'm good to go.

I can't say enough wonderful things about this place and Mr. Bryant. He allowed us to boondock after pulling in around 8 because I wasn't able to connect on the Harvest Host App. It was beautiful and quiet and we slept like a log. Woke up the next morning and enjoyed the beauty while having a cup of coffee and then headed inside when they opened to sample and stock up on their wonderful liquor. Enjoyed speaking with Mr. Bryant. We came here Oct. 2020 and we're so glad to get to come back and enjoy the beauty and their specialties. We will definitely come again.

Ambiance was excellent and the service was great! They were so kind and it was a good time. Recommend the "Rectifier" bourbon. Among one of the best.

Such accommodating hosts that Sam swung by to open the distillery after they closed (15 min) to let us buy some of their cool products. They kept thanking us for coming by....NO thank you for hosting us on our travels!!! Great kind people creating a great product! We purchased the namesake Samuel T Bryant...Tennessee Sam whiskey and some after dinner sipping "cookies and cream" for later. Yumm! Nice grounds with beautiful huge oak trees that may have been here 100 years or more. Green apples on the trees and some sweet shrubs in bloom. Fabulous climate in mid May! Love the plants! We'll be back!

Enjoyed a drink on the shady porch (or is it a patio?) in front of the Bryant Distillery.

Nice distillery offering a selection of distilled products, located just a half-mile off I-40. The staff was friendly and helpful. Guests can enjoy a free tasting of four products in the tasting room. The place also serves mixed drinks. The interior is clean and spacious (but a few more shady seats outdoors would be nice).

Driving from Nashville to Memphis we saw the sign for this distillery and decided to check it out, because who doesn't love a lil early afternoon moonshine? The grounds and building are very beautiful and charming. We had the pleasure of meeting Samuel and got to chat with him and try some of his fabulous moonshine. My favorites were the strawberry and coconut. We even got to tour the distillery with Samuels father. I've tried other moonshine, but so far this is my favorite. tip- strawberry moonshine with lemonade made the best summertime drink! Make sure you load up when you are there because it goes fast!

My sister was very insistent that we go to Samuel T. Bryant Distillery. "He went to church with us! I know him from youth group. How do you not remember him?" she quipped. "I am sorry, the name sounds familiar... I guess?" my reply. I would never in a million years that Jackson would have a distillery, let alone a really amazing one. I came here blindly not knowing what to expect. I wasn't necessarily thinking one way or the other, but Jackson isn't known for too much. Maybe we are known for founders of Hard Rock Cafe and Waffle House being from here or maybe that Pringles potato chips are made here. Possibly rockabilly, too? Well, to my amazement - Jackson now can also be known for STB distillery. A group of 4 of us came. We tried their free tastings and ended up purchasing around $180 worth of product. The highlights were hands down moonshine (we got coconut and blueberry), their whisky (Tennessee Hills), and their TNKilla (tequila). Their moonshine was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD! Sam (the owner) and his father, Mr. Bryant, were very gracious in taking the time to talk to us and explain to us everything on how the produce their product and how the distillery came to be. We even got to view where he makes the product. Sam is a leisure winemaker, but doesn't distribute. He had some experience in the alcohol business before opening the distillery up. *Despite growing up with Sam's family and my family in our same church, I really didn't know the gentleman. My sister is 8 years older than I am and they were in a different group of folks than myself. I only write this because I want it to be made known despite my wonderful experience here, this review should NOT be reflected as me writing something for a family friend. I genuinely loved the product and having the opportunity to experience this. Plus, with growing up in Jackson and with my family being the social people that they are - it is 6 degrees of separation in knowing one another!* It was super fun to come here and would advise anyone driving between Memphis and Nashville looking for a good boozy stop along the way to take the time and check out Samuel T. Bryant's distillery!

We had a wonderful, fun time here! They are so friendly and taught us so much. We could not help ourselves ... we just had to buy a lot of their amazing moonshines for Christmas gifts and, of course, some for ourselves! I think everyone will totally enjoy this discovery!

We found the Samuel T. Bryant Distillery via Boondockers Welcome and were able to reserve an overnight stay. We arrived in plenty of time for Mr. Pete to give a tour and the run down of how they create their dee-lish products. We relaxed in the event hall and enjoyed cocktails and conversations with our fellow RVers. The place is dog friendly too and you won't meet nicer folks. For RVers, the place is a short and easy drive off I 40.

Great whisky and moonshines. Sam and Pete were fantastic to chat with and taste the different flavors of Moonshines. The whisky is smooth as well. We were so happy we made this stop on our trip. Totally recommend a stop by here.

This review is for Amber! My dad and I were here on the 22nd of May (Friday) while on a roadtrip from Washington DC to California. I just wanted to thank you for being so kind, helpful, and fun! I've tried the butter pecan cream in some coffee and it is just amazing. I haven't been able to try the other two bottles because they are gifts but I'm sure the receiving bartenders will have a blast with them. Only wish I'd picked up a jar for myself...if you guys ever decide to sell online, I'm there. Also, Amber, super random but I think you're cool. If you want a cross country friend, I'd love to get in touch! I'm sure that sounds weird but whatever. Making friends, particularly with women our age, is ridiculously hard so if I meet someone who seems cool, I try not to take it for granted and reach out Claire

Great tour, cool place and a great way to break up the tedious ride from Nashville to Memphis or vice-versa.

We shared spirits and laughs and took home a bottle of the best-tasting, smoothest moonshine I have ever had!

Disappointing Three…read moreyears ago we happened upon this B&B the location is just lovely and the previous owners dream. We enjoyed it so much we thought one day we would love to bring our family. Now during this pandemic we thought this would be perfect and booked all 3 suites thinking this would ensure a peaceful retreat. Unfortunately sad to say the new management has not maintained this gem. In addition to many unkept areas and uncleanliness my grandson along with two of my adult children were severely covered in bed bug bites. My conscience will not allow me not to give this warning especially after finding dead and live bugs along with evidence of possible previous treatments. We actually gave them to the manager and she didn't even want to go into the rooms. It was really hard to believe this issue was not known to them. I really hope they can turn this place around, so others don't have to experience this!

When selecting your wedding day venue you want everything to be great with all the bells &…read morewhistles....well it started off great & became a complete fog at the end. The owners were hard to get in touch with after they received our deposit. Not easily to contact if any questions and not a speedy response. The original plan & house shown the day of the tour all changed the day before my wedding. Found out the owners now live in the upstairs part of the house and found out there was a separate cabin available now. That was fine until the next bomb was dropped. I was only allowed to have 3 of my bridesmaids to stay with me (total of 4 people) the night before & one of them couldn't stay. A month before my wedding, we found out the tables & chairs were not included in the contract, that was an extra fee not planned for. Was hard to get receipts after a payment was made. The owner is not easily available if you have questions or concerns. Was told that the husband (owner) would be directing traffic & parking for our guests. Found out later on he was yelling and snappy with some of my guests....(not the day of our wedding) he smelled of alcohol when we went to make a payment towards our venue bill. With the deposit being 50%, and non-refundable I went ahead & stayed with this venue as our choice. After my wedding rehearsal, the owners THEN asked for a cleaning/damage deposit... I asked if it was ok if the groomsmen & guys could change clothes in the cabin the day of the wedding and it was ok'd... We had guests from out of town that wanted to visit my husband & say hi before the wedding so the wedding party, & pastor was back & forth from the cabin to the barn, so several people were walking around on the grounds....later found out someone had gifted my husband with a bottle of and it came up missing after the ceremony. The day after the wedding my husband and I went to make sure the barn was cleaned, all trash taken out, floors swept & mopped, cans or anything on the grounds was picked up, refrigerator had to be cleaned out & shelves in the refrigerator had to be wiped down. No cleaning products available, just dish soap. Never saw the lady owner until we were getting ready to drive off. She was friendly and all smiles. We left to go on our honeymoon and when we returned to the states found out she had deposited the cleaning deposit check. Called her twice no answer...texted her twice, no reply...TWO WEEKS LATER she sent us an email saying contract was breached due to food being fried in kitchen, makeup on sheets, & she saw 12 people walking from the cabin the day of the wedding. Not once did she tell me these things would be a problem nor could she tell me face to face or reply back to my text or phone calls....Just put a bad taste in our mouths as a business owner & a bad memory in our hearts for our wedding.

We have been to numerous Holiday Inns Express by Hilton all across this country and enjoyed them…read more But this one feels NOTHING like the ones we have stayed at. From the front desk trying to sell a room for MORE than it is listed, to the nasty stuff in the window a/c vent. And let's not forget the large colony of mold in the bathroom shower that only had two washcloths for their complement of towel offerings. Want to use the sofa bed for your child to sleep on? Prepare to find a candy wrapper folded in it and no sheets anywhere in the room to be found. Now, call and ask the front desk for sheets, only to be told to come down and get them because she was the only one working. Yeah. From the quality of the cleaning to the "Come n get it" attitude, you can see why I was wondering if this was actually an outdated Motel 6 cosplaying as a Holiday Inn Express by Hilton that we were accustomed to. Disappointed and disgusted to be paying $160 for 1 night in this mold farm. You are welcome to experience the 90s era speed internet yourself and write a review from room 300. Holiday Inn Express by Hilton has disappointed us with this location. I half expect the wind to blow the Holiday Inn Express by Hilton sign off revealing a Motel 6. Update: 3/29/2025 7:00pm 3rd floor: A gaggle of loud kids are running around on the 3rd floor and up the down the stairway. Called the front desk, was told she was busy with a line of people, understandable, and would deal with it later. 11 pm later and they were still running around talking loudly. I suspect it was a baseball team of little league. ONE person works at this Holiday Inn Express in Jackson, TN in the evening? We were disgusted with our room and I called front desk immediately. Mold in bathrooms and showers, cracked tile everywhere. Took lots of pics and showed them. They moved us to another one and it was equally as bad. The hotel is filthy. Trash even in elevators. Carpet everywhere is filthy and stained. We ended up leaving and moving to another hotel. The last straw was pulling back sheets on the second room they gave us and saw a bed of crumbs!!! Just NO. Corporate needs to see this place as we've stayed at Holiday Inns for over 30 years. This was so bad we will not be staying at another one ever.
