It is like a whole new world of the past when you walk through the narrow doorway. A word of advice, do not take small children in there as they do not like people picking up their goods as most of it is antiques. They've got something for everyone in there, even if you do not like antiques. I saw a bunch of comics from my youth, a few action figures, tonnes of clothes, books and memorabilia scattered all over the place. The Haynes Market is a maze but a fun one. There is stairs from the first floor to the ground floor where you will discover a few more stalls to browse from. My friends got to wrapped up in the market that we spend ages in there looking at things, it's just amazing. Haynes Market is what a market in London should be like!

I finally went inside and wasn't disappointed there is so much to choose from the staff are very friendly and I brought quite a few coins and stamps as these are the things I collect and am interested in. The clothes may be vintage, but the quality is amazing. If your into mens vintage clothing, there are very few shops of this quality in the UK. It is small, but that does not matter as half the job has been done for you with only the best pieces on sale. I wondered past during the summer last year and a Rockabilly Skiffle band were playing in there. Such a great new addition to the Palace triangle.

The…read moreshop was previously only open for wholesale but has recently been made accessible to the public. A cool feature is that behind the counter you can see the designers at work. The shop features some amazing pieces - all vintage style with funky designs - very unique and unlike anything I have seen before. They also have some great sale items such as a pair of vintage shoes down to £25 from around £60. They sell some gorgeous dresses and it is a shame the shop isn't more prominent. I guess the fashionistas of London are all aware that the true fashion gems are all hidden away behind the High Street giants, so I'm sure this shop won't stay undiscovered for too long!

Not to say they're expensive but there were some super cute vintage things priced in the low to mid £20 range which is more in my ballpark and took the bulk of my attention. Although I didn't buy anything on that first trip, I recently returned determined to make one of those vintage dresses mine. I tried on three items from the vintage racks but nothing fit quite right. I was bummed. The staff was pleasant and helpful and I would love to buy something from this shop. I'm not sure how often they replenish their vintage items but I'll be checking in every once in a while for a fresh perusal.

Why spend £2 on a pack of sponges when you can spend 2p? And why spend a tenner on a dish strainer when you can get a perfectly decent one for £1 max? In these hard-up, borderline financial depression times it pays to be frugal. So I go here for nearly everything. It may be cheap, but it does the job and I'm not complaining; although my broom did break into three pieces after its third use, but hey, whatever, that kind of stuff is expected when you only paid 40p for it. I enjoy the little things in life... and this is one of them, every time i walk in here i have to remember not to buy everything....!! (just one item!!) I can't stop smiling!! at the vast amount clothing rails are crammed with original sportswear, fabulous silk dresses, handmade shirts and sharp designer suits. (Got to remember.. two pieces of items..!!) Glass cabinet and wooden drawers are full to the brim with hand-painted ties and original silk cravat, not to mention the heavenly handbags. (o.k!! three pieces... that it..!) The owners and staff so nice, friendly and very helpful and knowledgeable.
