Even though we were on vacation in Cancun, we couldn't help but check out the Sam's club here. It was conveniently located in the same shopping center as Walmart. Since this is a good place to buy in bulk, we really couldn't buy very much because we were staying at a hotel, and it wasn't feasible for us to lug the rest back home when our stay was over. That being said, this store is exactly laid out the same as other Sam's Clubs in Sacramento. We did notice that they also sell motorcycles which we thought was interesting. The downside of being a US citizen shopping here, is that they do not accept the Sam's Club Credit card or any other American issued credit cards for that matter! So be warned if you're a Sam's member in the US and you have a Sam's credit card issued by their bank in the US it won't work at Sams in Mexico, and we couldn't pay by debit card either as we don't have a Mexican bank account so its cash only unless you happen to have American Express which the Sams in Mexico seem to accept. Otherwise similar to what you'd see in the US and the lay out isn't a whole lot different. The prices are what you would expect for Sams Club but unfortunately we had to leave our planned purchases at the register as I didn't want to have to get cash out just for 2 purchases. read more
