In summertime they have different handicraft demonstrations and guidings almost every day and there are sheep and hen you can meet. It's nice to visit any time of the year, but November-December the main building has 19th century Christmas decorations and they tell about traditional Finnish Christmas. The personnel is extremely helpful and enthusiasted and know their stuff - ask them anything about their subject and they will answer! They have a nice museum shop, if you're searching for gifts. There is also a small and cosy cafe which has excellent pullas (sweet buns).

While growing up in Helsinki…read moreand living in Kaivopuisto (part of Helsinki) I used to walk past this church several times a week. The wood carved seats, stain glass windows and the high sealing just created a royal feeling when entering this God's house. Had my first wine and bread there and I wanted to get married in this church but I got married in another country. Still to this day when I return to Helsinki, I always go in, sit there a moment and say a prayer. Visiting Johanneksenkirkko is my pilgrimage and I can highly recommend paying a visit to this beautiful architectural building.

And It actually look much bigger than I expected when I saw it in really life. It still look funky and somehow funny. He just gave me a smile. he kind of remind me the combination of Attack On Titan and Manneken Pis. After visited The Crusell Bridge, I decided to have a walk to this place, it actually took a longer time than I expected, because of the construction around this place. Probably it would be a better idea just take the public transports. I like the statue, the expression and I also made some funny pictures. Not sure other people will have the same appreciation for this. But if you have time and tired of the regular sightseeing, this might be the place for you.
