I rediscovered my art during covid and was thrilled to learn about Arturo's small class offerings in his chic and contemporary art studio. His classes are limited in size which offers every student his attention and guidance. His personality and teaching style is warm and welcoming and he generously shares his skills and talents to help his students become more confident in our own unique style. Arturo is an exceptional teacher !!! Although I had some experience in oil paintings and I'm self taught , I learned so much about the basics ... mixing and blending colors and learned how to paint portraits really well , I couldn't believe how good it turned out . A fantastic atmosphere surrounded by great people also learning their skills . I'm astounded how much I learned in just eight two hour sessions . I have been working with s number artists in the past, taking short sessions to get my creativity flowing under their skillful eye and suggestions on how to take it from banal and plain disaster to a decent almost medium/advanced level. At Arturo Samaniego studio all ingredients necessary to provide inspiration, skill acquisition, relaxation, some socialization and positive encouragement, are present.
