And this at 6 o'clock in the morning! We had to catch a plane, and when the other company let us down, Co-op really saved our day. They were at Tudor Court in Pointe Claire and wanted to go to Sedgefield in Pointe Claire. They were talking and when they looked up they noticed that the taxi was going towards the Sources overpass - NOT the way home. When they told the taxi driver that he was going the wrong way, he became belligerent and nasty. He then told them to get out of his taxi!!! THIS WAS AT 1:30AM AND FREEZING COLD!!!! Yes, he did kick them out of the taxi on the side of the road at 1:30 in the morning. This is inhuman!! It should be illegal to treat people this way - even more drastic is the fact that they did this to a man who is blind!!! Something has to be done to control your drivers, this is not in any way acceptable!! I have advised my family that if anything like this ever happens again, they should call the police and have the driver arrested.

No problem booking the ride (we called their dispatch earlier to book), and the cab was precisely on time, to the minute (despite it being a horrid wintery and stormy day with dismal driving conditions outside). My ride was super safe yet quick (I don't often say that about taxi rides. Usually it's one or the other), and the driver was friendly, too (bonus!). The fare was comparable to all other cab rides I had to and from the airport. If I were ranking Atlas on this airport ride alone, it'd rank 5 stars. However, the week earlier I tried to book a ride for my mom and me to go from my folks' residence to a spa in Old Montreal. We had SO many problems booking Atlas at that time: their online booking service was not working, and whenever I called their dispatch, nobody answered their phones. It just rang and rang. I'm not sure if their lines were down or if they were super busy or what, but after 30 minutes of trying to book a cab with them, I gave up and booked a Diamond cab ride (which was no problem at all, online. Took a minute). So go figure.
