This year I started using Yard Dogs because my previous lawn care provider moved away and Yard Dogs…read moretook over all his clients. Besides mowing the yard, I had agreed upon a contract for specific lawn care items to be completed throughout the year. In the Spring, I had to constantly contact the owner and ask when the Spring items would be complete since I had already paid $1350. It took awhile but they were complete. Then in August, I contacted the owner to inquire on specific items that were to be completed in late Summer and early Fall with no response. I contacted the owner again at the end of September requesting a timeframe and also the fact that the moss removal and shaded areas did not do well and that I would need that to be fixed. With no response, my husband contacted the owner asking about the incomplete items and the shaded areas that were not properly treated. The owner stating that he would complete the items in the next few weeks and fix the shaded areas. Finally on October 9th, the owner responded stating that he just got my emails that were in Spam (?) and stated he spoke with my husband and everything will be completed in the next few weeks. Then on November 7th, I heard mowers outside and found 2 workers mowing my lawn. I informed them that I have not received a response from the owner on incomplete work on my contract and that it has been since the first week of October that my yard had been mowed and that I would appreciate that they do not return to my property until my contract is satisfied on the lawn care. The very next morning I received an email from the owner denying that he received any communication from me or my spouse. And that in the next few weeks the feed and weed would be completed but since I did not want his workers to return he would consider the $35 mowing fee waived in lieu of the non-completed items on my contract. I responded later that day with my own email outlining dates and times and communication in regards to the contract and that $35 is not satisfactory as a "refund" since I paid $1350 and only 1/2 of the items listed on the contract were completed. I requested at least $500 because in the Spring I will have to pay someone else to fertilize, weed & feed and fix the moss/shaded areas on one side of my house. As of today, no response. I would never recommend this Company to anyone because the owner is not honest.
