He took out a wall, repaired plaster cracks and joints and skim coated all of the walls on the first floor. The walls came out perfect. The old wavy plaster walls look flat and straight after he finished and it's impossible to see the gap in the plaster were he took out the old wall. Also, his price was very fair. We were never paid and still remain unpaid. this was not due to any issue with the work on our end, it was because Alan got into a disagreement with the owner of the property and decided to walk off the job. When my realtor saw the work Norm and his crew did in the two units, she gushed praises for how good Norm made our property look. She even cussed a bit, and she doesn't normally swear. Here's a direct quote from the text she sent me, "IT LOOKS SOOOOOO GOOOOD!!!!" Norm checked all of the boxes you want a contractor to check. High quality workmanship. Check. Reasonable on price. Check. Work completed in a timely manner. Check. Communicated well, often, and clearly. Check. I can't recommend this guy enough. If you want your place painted by a guy who will make it look SOOOOOO GOOOOD, then I think you need to hire Norm.

Poor time management, was always hours later than expected and rarely worked for more than a couple hours in a day. Clearly did not know what he was doing and that should have been communicated from the beginning instead of attempting to do it regardless and wasting thousands of dollars. Fortunately the majority of the materials could be reused, but some had to be trashed entirely.
