They play loud, loud music, and every third or fourth song or so, every 15-20 minutes, they do a show- someone comes in dressed as The Mask, or Beetlejuice, or Captain Jack Sparrow, and they do a musical dance number and everyone goes insane. It's open bar. But all the drinks are pretty bad. The beer- Tecate Light poured from caguamas. I'd never heard of the rotgut tequila. You apparently have the option to get a bottle and a table for a few thousand pesos. Party next door for warmup at the Oxxo or Senior Frog's. The staff were all friendly, and acted like they loved their job, and had seen it all. My favorite thing was that the urinals were in the shape of mouths. The decor is amazing. The shows were fantastic. I had an amazing time. I can't wait to go back! I've never paid a cover this high, but the costumes, the cleanliness, the professional friendly staff, everything felt safe, even though there was massive amounts of booze being consumed.

Once inside, we encountered further issues, including bartenders attempting to charge us for drinks that were clearly included in the package, which felt misleading and unprofessional. My sister was repeatedly harassed by another guest, who persistently kicked her seat and attempted to provoke a confrontation. Despite this ongoing behavior, no staff intervention occurred. The situation escalated when the individual poured a cocktail on my sister--only at that point did security step in. This delayed response created an uncomfortable and unsafe environment, which is unacceptable for any venue, especially one offering a paid experience. Guests should never feel at risk or unsupported in such situations. To add to the frustration, our return transportation was also delayed, as the driver arrived late. Overall, the combination of disorganization, questionable practices, and lack of adequate security made this a highly unpleasant experience. I would not recommend this venue based on our visit.

There was ample shade provided by sturdy patio III umbrellas, private casitas, each seating 10 adults. ATMOSPHERE: Common areas are look tired in the day light. I'm sure that the flaws are masked by the pool lights once the sun sets. Our private party was at the far end of the club; a 10x14' pool flanked by patio furniture in one side and 5 private cabanas on the other. The cabanas were set up living room style with a sofa, coffee table and cabinets for personal belongings. The view from one of the casitas was oceanfront making a lovely backdrop for photos. The music was obnoxiously loud most of the time with pounding bass. Our crowd was celebrating the Grooms and they a great time. In our case, the grooms were running a tab- open bar and order from an extensive bar menu. FOOD: Well presented and the guests seemed to enjoy it. We headed out and dropped some people off who were snorkeling somewhere else. We then headed to Puerto Morelos where I was dropped off at El Rey Polo Country Club and the last group of people were dropped off at Loma Bonita where they did ATVs. I was the only one with the horseback riding. My guide was Mario. He was great and took me through the club/ranch on back roads around the Polo club through the woods/jungle. I was surprised he still did the tour with only me. I got to know my horse a little bit (Miguel). For me, I was happy just to be riding a horse. I'm sure other people would have been a bit disappointed with the experience. We rode for about an hour, took some pictures and I got back in the van and headed to the cenote. The buildings for the polo were nice and it would have been great to spend a little longer there having a cerveza or two with Mario and the ranch hands. Most of the other reviews of horseback riding experiences in the area have you riding on the beach. This is not the beach or even near the beach, so if that is what you want, find another tour.
