Good staff. Good prices. City is walkable tho. Routes were not too long. Sometimes the (tour…read moreinfo) audio quality was poor, sometimes not working at all. Could've easily done a decent Napoli tour without the hop on hop off bus.

The first trip involved eight of us, with my wife and I and three of our friends making our first visit to the home country. We were driven from Rome to Pompei to Naples to the hometown of five of us (two families) - Ottati & Castelcivita - back to Naples and then to Rome. We had two drivers: Rocco, who handled the Rome, Naples & Pompeii trips; and Umberto, who drove us from Naples to Ottati & Castelcivita. Both men were professional, charming and friendly, as if your Italian relatives were driving you. Umberto became somewhat of a legend on that trip, since he took us to the towns our families came from and became our interpreter. And oh... Umberto is the father of Giovanni, who runs Benvenuto Limos. (We sent a video to them as a thank you.) This August at the last minute (well, for me at least, during June) after much urging by my wife and the people of Ottati I attended the 75th Anniversary of the opening of town's aqueduct. Fundraising was done by my great uncle and others in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, my hometown, as well by a group in Pennsylvania. There was no way I was driving two hours up the mountains. My wife told me to call Giovanni and Benvenuto and guess who picked me up in Naples? Umberto! And he picked me up a couple of days later to take me back to Naples. Again, it was like family... family that is professional, charming and wonderful. Benvenuto Limos are tremendous. I recommend them highly.
First and foremost, having Benvenuto Limos and Amalfi Coast Tours as our drivers made our entire…read moretrip to the Amalfi Coast so incredible. Our experience wouldn't have been as amazing as it was without Giovanni, Daniella and the entire staff. My family (three adult children and two parents) traveled to Italy and after a terrible travel day, we were greeted at the train station in Naples by Roberto and had a wonderful drive to the coast, which was quite refreshing and relaxing after a treturous journey from California. We came to Italy with very little knowledge of the area and very little planned for the week. Giovanni with the assistance of Daniella not only provided us with seamless pick up and drop offs throughout the week in their spotless air conditioned cars, but he and his drivers were basically our tour guides each day which made the trip so much better. They planned our itinerary perfectly with their extensive knowledge of the area and connected us to all the best sights, restaurants, and more. One day we visited Pompeii and Herculaneum. They organized for us to have a private guide in both places and we stopped for an amazing lunch at a winery on Mount Vesuvius during the day. The wine tasting and food was incredible. This was a must all thanks to the Benvenuto team. One of the most memorable moments was our dinner in Positano at a restaurant that is a little bit hidden from the main touristy area, La Guarracino. Giovanni personally called the restaurant to get us a reservation and gave us recommendations of what to order. The assorted chefs choice sea food plate was one of the best things we've ever had and the whole night was so magical. This trip was so special and memorable for my family. When it came to an end, we were so sad to say goodbye to Giovanni who we'd loved getting to know throughout the week. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you! We owe so much to Giovanni, Daniella and their amazing drivers Roberto, Luigi, Roberto and Eduardo. If you visit the Amalfi coast, I wouldn't recommend anything more than this company.

Metro stop Municipio on Line 2 gets you there - take the Porto exit and walk right. What they don't explain very well is where to get on the boat. There are multiple boat companies, and they dock at one of two docks... which resulted in my friend and me getting our inadvertent morning run on. To Sorrento we went! And from there we boat-hopped to Amalfi, then Positano. This day was one of the highlights of our trip. We only spent an hour or so on each island, but we loved every minute of it. Our route starting at 10am from the port of Napoli consisted of: boat Napoli-Sorrento, boat Sorrento-Amalfi, bus Amalfi-Positano, and bus from Positano to one of the train stations. A word of warning: the evening buses back to Naples (or to train stations that get you back to Naples) are CROWDED so make sure you 1) buy the bus ticket as soon as you arrive at the island, and 2) have plenty of time to miss a bus; even if you get to the station, the line of people in front of you may cause you to have to cram into the bus after the bus you think you're waiting for.
Fast boat schedule. 50 mins between Napoli and Ischia. Slow boat takes an hour and a half.

The car ride was from Naples to Pompeii and back. The price was very reasonable. This is not really a taxi, but a private car service. The vehicle we were in was a nice 6 or 7 seat Mercedes van. The driver was really a good guy and pointed out things as we went. He was early at our return pickup, which was very nice, as a lot of things have not been running on time for us. :-) The car service takes care of all of the Bay of Naples area and can arrange tours for you as well. I think that if you book with this company, you will be very pleased.
