I'm not arguing with someone who doesn't want us on his boat, so I'm not going to tell him we spend multiple months each winter in Costa Rica and are incredibly familiar with the water; we also have done extensive boat trips off the coast of Ireland, which is incredibly choppy. Getting a refund took forever. A waste of a day. When I told the people at the ticket office they should make it more clear that the captain takes kids at his discretion I was told "the website can not go through every possible scenario." Incredibly rude and unwelcoming; families avoid at all costs!

Novice but enthusiastic offshore fishers with lots of inshore and freshwater experience. This was a first for all of us. We were 40-45 miles offshore all morning in an area with nothing shy of 100 whales, breaching, porpoising, and spouting the entire time. Fogged in for early morning with improving skies all day. The first fish was 38-40" fish that blew up the top water spread when he hit it, amazing. Second fish was right at the max, 70", probably north of 180#s. Captain Dennis had to work to keep us on fish as the wolfpack were pretty finicky near the surface. We called it to go try for striper, and within an hour of fishing for striper, we were maxed out. Boat great, First mate and Capitain great team, fish were the real stars of the day. When we got back, all fish were fileted and prepped for us to portion out and freeze. Still enjoying the spoils at dinner time. Thank you Dennis. We'll be back!!!!

Kids wanted to try fishing again while on vacation. But, I wanted a more petsonized experience than…read morethe large public fishing trip we did last time. Enter Cape Tip'n and Captain Nico! Nico was quite accomodating about arrangements and answering questions. Our trip included fishing for bait, blue fish and an attempt at Striped Bass. He answered questions from teenagers and drove the boat fast and we even got a look at a large contingent of seals and a glimpse at some whales. We did make one large catch of a striped Bass and several of the blue fish which gave us enough for several meals (6 of the 7 of us went fishing). All the teenagers said they would be interested in doing this again with Nico in the future!

Ron is a retired school teacher and has many positive and funny stories to entertain you while fishing. Ron's knowledge of these local waters, makes hime the "go to guy," for fishing whether it's Blue fish, Stripers, or Tuna. The different type of equipment on board makes the fishing experience all the more fun. Our group hooked into several large sized Stripers but the most fun was hooking a couple of Skate! Never caught any Skate but boy was that fun and a lot of work! The day ended with mate Jackie, taking a knife to the catch, and deftly filleting the day's catch. Captain Sam was very knowledgeable and showed us various landmarks throughout. The boat was amazing - everything looked brand new and there were various areas of the boat for us to hang out in. In particular I loved the fly bridge which had incredible views of the sunset and water. Captain Sam was awesome and played great tunes. I will definitely be booking again in the future for my next girls trip or for a special night with the family. The perfect cape experience!
