Do NOT recommend this agency. KIM A: We are still waiting for our money since September. Our mother passed away, probate has been closed for 3 years, and there is no estate -- yet the owner continues to hold funds that are not his. We have spoken with his secretary multiple times, and she repeatedly says there is nothing she can do. He refuses to explain why the money is being withheld or what paperwork he supposedly needs. All he has to do is remove "estate" from the check and issue it in my sister's name (she was on our mother's bank account) so it can be properly dispersed. I would not recommend this agency because they have no follow through and very poor communication skills. They were working for several years to settle an estate of my Mother's relative, and everyone else got their settlement in September of last year. My Mother passed away in the interim and they assured me that we would still receive the settlement. However, after many, many, many attempts to reach Mr. Willet, through his secretary, he refuses to contact me directly and work with me to solve whatever issue is holding this up. These lawyers offices are in an historic building in downtown Bardstown. During the Civil War, the building was used as a makeshift hospital. The lawyers have updated portions of the building and refurbished other portions. We worked with this firm on a real estate sale and everything went ultra smoothly.
