In the end I was divorced and my son lives primarily with me...but my ex and I were able to resolve things peacefully, so this isn't necessarily a testimony to her 'legal skills'. I thought that would be the end of the divorce, and my dealings with this law office, but when I went to change my name I found out that it hadn't been changed on the final divorce decree, even though the paperwork my ex and I signed stated that it needed to be changed!!! They are supposed to be fixing this without any further cost to me, so I will keep my fingers crossed and hope that I am not put on the back burner again. I guess what I am saying is that this firm didn't drop the ball so much that they ruined my life or anything, but I definitely wouldn't recommend Greta Noe. When I pointed it out, he got angry instead of helping. His clerks were rude and even blamed me for their mistakes. He bragged about his own house instead of focusing on mine. And despite me arriving 15 minutes early, he left me sitting in the waiting room for over 30 minutes past my scheduled appointment. I paid for legal support and got dismissiveness, arrogance, and wasted time. Retiring or not, clients deserve better. To make matters worse, Mr. Durham delayed releasing my case file after I terminated services until I threatened them with contacting the Kentucky Bar Association, dragging out an already stressful process. I was expecting a refund, however, they wanted to charge me even MORE than what I'd already paid. His final invoice was padded with excessive charges- $75 for a single summary letter and hundreds more for redundant 'review' and 'emails.' Even basic client communication was billed as though it were complex litigation. After I disputed the charges, the firm only waived the remaining balance when I made it clear I was ready to involve the Kentucky Bar Association. That's twice I had to threaten them with the Bar Association, and they caved both times. Beware.
