I scheduled an appointment with student V. on a Monday morning at 10 as a male model. Please note that this is only possible once a month and therefore I had to make time and space on this specific date and hour. V. wrote me the day before if I would be able to make it at 13.00. I replied that our original hour would be best for me, but gave her a few alternative options which would also work for me, like 11.30. As I hadn't heard from V. by the next morning, I sent her another message, to which she didn't reply, and I called her twice, also without any answer. She called me about 10 minutes before the appointment asking me "What time did we have the appointment again?" and "Can you make it at one?", telling me she hadn't received my replies to her message because "her phone was a mess". The only apparent reason for rescheduling given was "today I'm working only from 13.00". I told her 13.00 wouldn't be ok for me but 11 would also work; she told me she would check with her boss if that would be ok. She later sent me a text that 11 was not going to work and she would let me know when the next male model date was. To be frank, I feel treated like a piece of shit by Sassoon. I am aware that I am just a model and don't pay full price, but that doesn't mean that they've got the right to cancel appointments without any apparent reason as they please and act as if my time and planning don't matter. I went out of my way to keep the entire morning free, so then it's really disappointing and unprofessional if someone let's you know just before the appointment that they can't make it and "will let you know when the next male model date is". I wouldn't recommend anyone to schedule an appointment here, cause you might end up wasting your time.
