My Aveda Salon on Railroad in Eagle River WI is not only a very relaxing and beautiful setting but always friendly. Lots of smiles and positivity. It is the first place in this area that I would make appts. when I'd travel this way before I moved up here 2.5 years ago. Used other spots once I did but came back to Aveda. This salon and spa was very nice. A group of 4 came here before a wedding the next day and they accommodated us in their back room downstairs where there was 2 tables for nails and 2 pedicure chairs which was perfect for the 4 of us. I love that they didn't use a machine to buff down my nails which tends to make it thin. All of the girls were very nice and attentive to whatever we need. My nails looked great but the shape of my thumb nails were a bit crooked - not terrible though. I also wished they had more options of gel colors. I am use to going to salon with over 50+ colors and they had maybe 15-20. Also the price was a bit expensive..$50 for a regular pedicure and $40 for a no chip manicure!! read more

The booking process was extremely easy and quick and we got confirmations for our appointments the week of. The day couldn't have gone better! We had 4 different ladies working on us (2 started on Pedi's and 2 started on Mani's) and we got done in just a couple hours. Not only is this a really cute salon without the overbearing smell of chemicals, but the staff who work here are kind, easy to talk to, and do a thorough job cutting hair. I was surprised to even get a complimentary head massage! It's revolutionary. Why doesn't every hair salon do this? I had my nails, hair, and make-up done for my wedding at The Salon & Spa. My wedding was 6/16/15 and Brandi did my hair and make-up. I communicated with Tiffany to get everything arranged. She was very friendly and helpful. She coordinated appointments including my hair and make-up trial, nails for me and 3 people, as well as day-of hair and make-up for myself and my mom. She was fast at answering questions. I loved working with Brandi for my hair and make-up. I had an idea of what I wanted for my hair and make-up and she worked with me to find a final product that worked for me. She was patient with me as I know nothing about hair and make up. I have naturally curly hair and she carefully wrangled my crazy hair and straightened it beautifully. I was so happy with how my hair and make-up turned out for my wedding. My only concern was with nails. We received the free upgrade to shellac manicure and everyone's nails were peeling off by the end of the week.
