Not sure which Tasca y Vins is the right one, but I'll just review it under this one. Came here on…read morea hostel worker's recommendation who said it was the closest to his grandma's paella in all of Barcelona. Quite the recommendation right? Well, this place did not disappoint. Here's my travel journal entry for Tasca:
" 7/31
Left the garden and headed to Sagrada to find the hostel boy's recommendation. Took us a while because we walked on the opposite end both when we reached Marina and Industria. Eff our lives! Now we're here and we've just ordered. They gave us free vermouth as a starter! I'm telling you, the Europeans have it right! We ordered the seafood paella for 2 and a bottle of cava. Everything was divine. The paella... was... incredible (see picture)! It was packed with seafood and the octopus was T-E-N-D-E-R tender, and I hate octopus! The mussels were clean and the rice was a perfect al dente. With lemon, this dish was out of this world! There was nothing left. Love this restaurant! Love this city!"
