First, the ladies that helped us pick out our glasses was extremely nice and I kept trying on different ones saying they're all too big. They're all too big and I just tried them on until I could find the best ones in the color I liked, and then when I was all done and looking at glasses just while I was waiting on the ones I had picked. I was trying on glasses and I know there was another lady working in there that hadn't been helping me and I said I don't know what's wrong with me but my head is so small. All these glasses are just too big for me and she said oh you need a 49 I don't know what that means but it would've been nice to know that with the lady that was showing me glasses thatI was dealing with to start with. That's the first small issue then when I got my glasses, they weren't working right with me with the line on the reading glass and instead of telling me like the new place I go to you may just be one of those people that can't deal with that line there because you feel like it's in your face all the time she actually didn't believe me when I told her I could see better without him then with them and she tried to say I wasn't lying and made a big stink about it. I don't know if she's a DI hire both of them or what but then when they gave it back to me and it needed tightened like they do for free everywhere I didn't go back to tighten it because I was afraid she was a bit about that too so I moved onto a different place. When I wouldn't agree to extra procedures they said weren't necessary, they booked me to come in for a follow-up visit (even though I'd worn contacts before). When I came in for my follow-up appointment they acted like they couldn't care less about me. It took me an hour and a half for a simple follow-up exam, and customers who came in LONG after me were seen and sent home before they got around to me. Instead of charging me for everything upfront, as I've always had done at other places, they did TWO charges. This ensured that, even though my insurance said I only had to pay $35 out of pocket, Coldwater Vision Center charged me TWICE since it's fraud to double charge my insurance: a $45 "contact fitting fee" and a $25 material fee. When I spoke to the other girls at my office they said they had all got charged upfront, not twice. Calling the Coldwater Vision Center hoping it was just a mistake and they would issue me a refund, I got blown off by the billing department who told me it happens all the time and my money is just "a wash", and that I wouldn't be getting a refund. Not only was I hustled out of extra money, but I was treated rudely. Terrible, horrible place.
