Sadly he diagnosed my dog with cancer. We took care of his arthritis pain with a script but when…read moreI've tried to call back to talk about what to expect with his cancer or ANY other questions I've had I was told he didn't have time to talk from the receptionist, not just that day but at any time. When I asked about the meds he recommended for my cats I was not listened to again by the receptionist and she refused to ask him my question. She said what the doctor had already done as far as tests and needle aspirations needed to be done again and then she said, 'All dogs are different, we can't tell you how this will progress just like with human cancer!' Maybe this is true but they know I lost my mom to cancer last year and that is how we now have our dog. The doctors were able to tell me how my mom's cancer would progress and symptoms. We were also told if we have questions it will cost $10.00 to talk to him on the phone regarding the questions we have about our visit, his diagnosis, and medication. We paid in full for every test, procedure, visit, and follow up. This was hundreds of dollars all in full. We have also paid for all meds and supplies. I wish they hadn't treated us this way. I'm not sure if the doctor even knows we've been calling for a few weeks now. We had scheduled the $10.00 phone appointment and he didn't call. I don't know what else to say.

After questionable billing practices previously, I decided to give them another chance, because I…read morehad no other problems. Not so any more. After my Harrier had been out of heat for going on three weeks, she was still passing blood. I KNEW it was time to have her fixed - now! She also had a fatty tumor in her arm pit I wanted removed. I made an appointment, & had her there at 9:00 am, when they opened, & was the first person. I was told I could most likely pick her up @ 2:00, & call to confirm. When I called at two, Dr. Horn came on the phone, & proceeded to tell me all the reasons she had not gotten to her yet. "I knew it was going to take a long time, so I put it off, & I've been trying to get back there, & get to her." Right then I should have went with my first instinct, & told her I would be right there to get her, & don't touch her. But instead I told her I would be there @ 4:00. After 4:00 she comes out of the back, & proceeds to tell me she did not remove the fatty tumor, & all the reasons why. Among those reasons is "she is twice the weight she should be, & needs to loose weight first." I had never looked up what a Harrier weight should be, so I just did. Minum weight 45 pounds, maximum weight 60 pounds. When she was weighed this morning, she was 60 pounds. So after a litany of excuses for why my baby sat in a cage all day, with no food or water, & then did not get the fatty tumor removed, I was charged $150.00. $30.00 of that being for an obese charge, & being in estrus charge. She was out of heat for almost three weeks, & was @ weight for her breed. Now my previous questions of this establishment being money hungry have been answered, & added on to it is neglect, & bad care.
