New ownership eight months ago. First time since then that we've been back. Good service Reagan was an awesome server. Very attentive to the customers. Brought coffee back around. Prices are very reasonable. The only drawback is that everybody likes it so it's very crowded. I guess that's a good problem to have.

Greek omelette comes with fruit or hash brown AND pancakes or toast. Delicious

Good food. Great service. Convenient location. Interior is very nice and super clean. The owner, George, is very friendly and always there to chat up with the patrons. Highly Recommend!

I'd driven by this place on Michigan Ave. several times before but this was our first visit to the Saline Inn, a family-run restaurant in the town of Saline, Mi (pop. 9,151). I ended up liking almost everything about this small town venue and am rating it slightly better than 4 stars. I had the Philly Steak Omelette while my wife went vegetarian. The steak, veggies and cheeses in our omelettes were freshly prepared and cooked to perfection. We were both feeling pretty good about ourselves having subbed tomato slices for the hash browns...until we gave in to carbohydrate loading on a short stack of chocolate chip pancakes. Our breakfasts were both excellent. The only thing I thought was inconsistent with the overall experience of the Saline Inn was the obvious negative attitude of our server. She was super short with us in taking our orders and in doing so, spoiled what otherwise could have been a 5-star breakfast rating. Because anyone of us can have an occasional bed day (free pass), and on the strength of the excellent food, I'm throwing the Inn a solid 4 stars. Despite the service glitch, we'll be back whenever the cheese steak craving touches down.

Club wrap w/chicken tenders. My go to menu item.

Best diner for the price in the Ann Arbor area. Can't go wrong with breakfast or the traditional meals.

Updating my initial review as we've been back over a dozen times (between happy hour, dinner and…read moretakeout)! First, happy hour is awesome: 4-5pm + last hour (so 8-9pm Sun-Wed and 9-10pm Thursday thru Saturday). It's half off: draft beers, sangria, starters, house cocktails and wines. Also, I stand by the opinion that DropTop is the BEST Detroit style pizza right now. However, their burgers are also FIRE - that olive burger? YUM! I also am happy to share that the little details from opening - like cold frosty glasses, cold plates for salad, from scratch dressings/sauces, etc. is still on-going which truly makes a difference to the overall experience. Service is always super friendly, helpful.

The burgers are easily the standout!! juicy, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The shakes are AMAZING, and the pizza is different and big size, making it great for sharing. The fries are another win: crispy, well‑seasoned, and addictive. The environment is nice and cozy, which adds to the charm, though I do wish they had more tables. That said, they've optimized the experience by offering a separate pickup door, which makes takeout incredibly smooth and efficient... a smart move for a small business. What really elevates DropTop is the staff. They're super friendly, genuinely welcoming, and very knowledgeable about the menu. Their recommendations were spot on, and you can tell they care about the food and the customers. Overall, I'd absolutely come back. The burgers were my favorite, but honestly, everything I tried was solid.

On the way to Ann Arbor, my wife and I only had time for a couple of tacos. She always has to have guacamole with her chips and orders a side. When delivered to the table, it appeared to be almost a pint of the food. And it was excellent. It's a terrific value for the price. I must admit that I could have been more impressed with the hard-shell ground beef taco (the meat was badly overcooked) or the lamb barbacoa (a bit tough). However, I HIGHLY recommend the taco de Pescado. I have had plenty of fish tacos in CA, but this ranks right up there with the best. It was moist and flaky. That will be on my "go-to" order when I go back. And I am going to have to try the rellenos many have mentioned. That dis is another favorite of mine. I will return!

We started with the complimentary chips & salsa (solid salsa btw!). The $8.50 taco lunch combo was fantastic. Lunch combos are served between 11am - 3pm daily. It came with 2 tacos + rice and beans. The tacos were NOT street taco-size. And just to level set - NONNADAT flour tortilla with shredded saw dust, it's corn tortillas with onion & cilantro here only y'all! I had the following tacos: *Pollo -- TBH a little dry, but the flavor was good. Probably would not get chicken again. *Carnitas - I was expecting pieces of carnitas but they cut theirs into cubes. I didn't mind because it was flavorful and tender. I also like how they include some fatty pieces for that flaavvor. Yum. Would get again. Their other meat options are Asada, Al Pastor, Carnitas, Campechano, Chorizo, Pollo, Carne Molida. I'll definitely have to try the campechano some time! Also, the salsa they serve with the tacos is NO joke - one was orange & one was green. I couldn't tell which was mild and which was hot because they were both pretty spicy, ha. But they were both great complements on the tacos. It sounds like there used to be a market once, but it's no more! A patron walked in to ask and then walked straight out when the gal said there was no longer a market! It looks like they've converted it to more seating, but it's currently blocked off. Glad to have found my go-to taco spot in Saline!

The moment you walk in, you're hit with that warm, lively vibe that makes you feel like you're in for something good. And trust me, you are. This time around I came with my husband and we had in a margarita, a 40 oz beer, the California burrito, and the garlic shrimp. Everything came out hot, bold, and packed with flavor. Every dish I have ordered from this place tastes like it was made with real care. The plates are generous, too. You're definitely getting your money's worth here. What really seals the deal is how reasonable the prices are for the quality and portion sizes. It's rare to find a spot where the food is this flavorful, the servings are this big, and the bill still feels fair. Tacos Jalisco has become one of my go‑to places in Saline, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit. They do charge 3% service fee if you use credit card so they can keep their prices low. I chose a taco salad and it hit the spot. Kiddo got Mac and cheese after overhearing that it was available. It was all solid. Prices were extremely reasonable and service was fast. Overall we were very happy diners and I can't wait to return to try something new!
