I have been coming here for a couple of years now and absolutely love it. I just did an addition in my house and 80% of the items used and needed were from here. The prices are amazing and Kim is the best to work with. She is always happy to help and has a smile on her face. My kids love her to death and cant wait to see her and other employees they have gotten to know. It feels like family here. It is a huge place so except to spend a few hours here. It's like big candy store for grown ups. I gotten tile for my whole house, new bathtub, new shower, new vanity, insulation, new fire place, generator, camping stove, dishwasher, refrigerators and much much more from here. I will continue to shop here and give them my money easily. You can get a better deal if you pay cash as well so come prepared if you want to save a few bucks. I found a hidden GEM! In my ongoing search for a bathroom vanity that wasn't of the cookie cutter kind, I found this place on Yelp. I read some reviews and noticed everyone said the same things about the owner, Bob (basically how great he is). Didn't actually figure I'd run into him. So I strolled in on a random Wednesday, figuring I'd find nothing no different from what I'd been finding at other places. Man, was I wrong (not the first time). First, let me say this (advice and/or warning): go here with some time! I expected to go in and out. But there's SO much to see here. It takes some digging and looking through, if you're not above that. I'm not. Blinds, window treatments, cabinetry, indoor and outdoor lighting, chandeliers, fans, toilets, tubs, tiles, furniture, desks, closets, bathroom vanities, tables, hoses, every imaginable fixture and so much more. The place is huge. Upon my entrance, was greeted in the best way by Bob who quickly introduced himself, offered me a measuring tape, and pointed me in the right direction of what I said I was looking for. Occasionally a young man would come by to check on me, see if I needed any help and was really helpful. Other than that, they let me be and I was in there for 2 hours. Found a great bathroom cabinet and a few other things at great prices. I'm so glad I found this place and highly recommend it to anyone looking to do home improvements. read more

He's one of us (goodfellas reference) I took a trip with my dad the tool man and my son, as soon as we walked in he blew up a balloon for my son which was really nice and unexpected! Today was my first experience in Sale Sumo. This warehouse is filled with everything needed on your "Honey do list" or do it yourself project list. If you are a home flipper or do home repairs/remodels, this is the place for you! Everything from exhaust fans, ceiling fans, light fixtures, sinks, and much more misc. home goods, tons of tools, and very friendly and helpful staff. They have so much stuff, and are constantly getting more, that I have to come by a couple times a week to try and keep up. From the pictures and reviews it seemed it was a perfect place for me to find a miter saw, When I got there and went inside for me it was on organized and there were multiple tools that look to used and not in good shape. It was hard to find and sort through tools, it just wasn't a place for me, I went to Harbor freight instead. I felt it was a better fit with good prices and avoided the messy layout. At sumo sale I never had one of the many associates ask if I needed help looking for anything so I didn't really feel their customer service was an order either. If you like this place I'm not knocking it, I'm just giving my review and sharing my experience, it could work for many out there. read more

The Sumo store in Phoenix is extremely MESSY, nothing like what the pictures shown online! It is literally like a junk yard. Products are broken or open packages with missing pieces. Impossible to find anything. NO QUALITY AT ALL! What a waste of time to go there with all the hype about them. read more

Everything is broken us they say just bring it back but how many times are you supposed to drive from north Phoenix before it is no longer a good deal. This is an interesting place to buy furniture, fixtures, lighting, and other random home appliances and goods. My friend took me here this past weekend and I was able to pick up a huge rug for a great price! There is a ton of stuff but you will have to dig for it sometimes. I will be going back this weekend to find lighting, backyard patio furniture and maybe a mini fridge. read more

I love going to Sale Sumo. I used to spend a lot of time at Home Depot but now I try to make bi-weekly trips down to sales sumo to find what I need. I usually leave with a lot more great items than I went down there for. Everything from Cascade dishwashing detergent to outdoor patio furniture can be found depending on the day. I have been able to insulate my garage, install new appliances, purchase items for my plumbing business and even get new throw pillows. I'm always surprised by the selection and whenever I have questions the employees are very helpful. I tell everyone about SaleSumo that I can and sometimes I make extra money on the side by reselling items. You can buy pallets at a really good price and make a profit from selling. I feel like it's Christmas morning every time I go. Yes I might come up with items that are missing pieces here and there but I can get a store credit within 30 days and I'm happy to find even better items upon my return. Don't go just once. It can seem overwhelming the first time but make sure that you download the Home Depot app and you scan boxes to help find out what is inside. There are rules to follow to keep the business neat and orderly and that makes perfect sense. I don't understand the bad reviews. Saving 30% to 50% and having three warehouses to discover awesome items and seems like a great time to me. It's for everyone just make sure that you have some time to cruise the isles. You will never leave disappointed if you arrive understanding what Sale Sumo is... an opportunity to save or even make money and it's different every time you go! read more

This is the best place for any DIY person. The inventory changes fast, and you will need to be prepared to spend some time digging through lots of inventory to find things. As for prices it's better not to asked, you fill your cart up with all your treasures and Bob or Brain will come up with a price that will shock you. Finally if you do have problems you can return stuff for exchange or credit. I found tile and things to redo the bathroom, some tile for the kitchen and in my last trip everything to do automatic sprinkles and drip system for the backyard. read more

Yeah, nobody there cares about covid which is basically the only good and refreshing thing about this place. At first I was thrilled. I spent $2000 in my first two visits but then I quickly realized that I wasn't saving any money and it was actually costing me a LOT of money! I got a pressure washer that was missing basically everything even though it was in a closed box and didn't realize it until I got to my job site an hour away with three employees there and we couldn't do our job so I'm out that whole day plus labor for my employees and when I go back to exchange it I think I'd better make sure there's parts in the box and Bob starts screaming at me in the middle of the store - rudest most insane treatment I've ever experienced. Some of his employees gave me apologetic looks so I can just imagine how he treats them. Anyway, It's going on 6 weeks now and still haven't been able to get my money or a decent replacement so if there's something you want there, go for it but if there's something you NEED, don't even think about it! BTW the gen five ridged circular saw I bought is also defective, (and the one they replaced it with) the shelves they sold me don't have poles or connectors, the second pressure washer didn't start, the third one barely had more pressure than the hose, the heat gun was missing all the attachments, so far the only thing that wasn't broken or defective was a role of tape. Also, when they gave me store credit for the $280 pressure washer and a broken nailer they rang me up and charged me $150 for the stuff I got and I added it all up and it was $190 new at home depot (but at home depot it's not all broken) but they didn't even barely look at my cart they just decided 150 even though they say 50% off.... If they can EVER resolve this horrible experience I'll update my review but so far I've been more than patient and I'm still losing money and time. read more

You seriously must come here before trying any other home improvement store. I just purchased two vanities, multiple faucets, ceramic tile, air filters and other random products for my remodel. I spent probably 1/3 of what I would expect anywhere else.... and Sumo has a guarantee so you don't have to worry about what you are getting. Kim was awesome and so was Lana on my last visit. I have been here multiple times and always receive great service from the entire staff, including Brian and Bob. They greet and treat you like an old friend here. In the past I have purchased mailboxes, lighting, power tools, and more.... and have never had an issue with quality. A few reviews say this place is a mess, but Sumo is constantly getting in new products and does a really good job of organizing their merchandise. Every time I go in, it gets even better and better. Besides if you can't find something, just ask. I couldn't find the right faucet so I asked and they showed me exactly what I needed. Thank you Sumo for the service you provide. read more

This place is AMAZING!! What an incredible concept with accessible product and SUPER reasonable prices. This space is expansive and well organized. Whether you need a vacuum, toilet, drill or a refrigerator- they've got what you need and more!! The staff is super helpful and will assist you finding whatever you need. They also have BEAUTIFUL area rugs for a great discount. These rugs would cost $$$$ thousands in a regular store but I got mine fore a couple hundred!!
