Having dealt with the delivery driver direct, my naturally assumption was that he had released a gas from his anus which had travelled into the bag and made habitat with the naan. Unfortunately, it wasn't. Whilst the carrier bag read "contents hot" it really should have read "contents shit". Coincidentally the two dishes tasted exactly the same and reminded me of Asdas "takeaway for two" which are nothing short of slander to the Punjabi community. Both myself and partner refused to eat and I kindly asked to speak with the manager, Dippu. I challenged Dipvinder and asked him if "paste" had been used. To my surprise, he acknowledged the use of P and offered a part refund which was just returned by the sane delivery driver. To my surprise the £10 note appears to have been used to wipe his arse as it smells.

There is plenty of Cobra beer to keep you refreshed during the wait. The menu has plenty of options and the staff is super helpful and attentive The food is delicious....vindaloo and madras options with chicken or lamb are my favorite but everything is full of flavor and spice. Then one of my good friends in my later years promised me this would be a great place for a curry. So initial thoughts is it definitely looks outdated outside and in but surprisingly it is not all that uncomfortable with the old wooden decor. I will admit in around 20 visits here I have only ever order the one dish and that is the minced lamb curry with naan, it is that good! It is a family run restaurant and they are very awesome folk who work here. I have only ever been during the week so not sure what the weekend rush is like.

Look on the W/ton council website for the environmental health scores on the doors and Jivans scores one of the highest (4 stars) in the town for excellent food standards and kitchen hygiene. Better score than places that charge twice as much! Its only a small place with formica tables, so its not the sort of place for a special meal, there are far more swankier places to visit - but for a quick curry in a hurry after a real ale session, or a curry before the theatre this place can't be beaten.
