He wanted to know if I wanted him to give me a price in paving the gravel half of my driveway. Believing it was a scam, I let him measure the area anyway. When he told me the price, it was more than I was willing to spend. I countered with an offer I was willing to pay, we agreed upon the price. I was still skeptical. I watched most of the work being performed by the four man crew. I was impressed with their hard work and professionalism. After a few hours work the job was completed. They ensured that every ridge and bump was rolled smooth and my new extended driveway looks great. They even swept and rolled the street between my house and the neighbors house. At the end of the day, my faith in contractors has been somewhat restored. With the professional job they did on a low price, impromptu at my house, I'd recommend them to anyone.
