I started working for Saladmaster when I was 19 starting as I was beginning my college degree at CSI.
I met this man Chris who introduced me to the business. After I saw him cook I saw the potential of the business.
Without any knowledge of cooking I started working alongside Chris.
He was a mentor to me and taught me how to cook and sell. This company helped me break out of my shell. He was a family man as well as a business man.
Working for this company I got a wide knowledge of different people by cooking in their homes. Every week I was cooking for families from all over the world. I learned about what they cooked and their culture. It was truly inspiring.
I learned sales and people skills during my 5 years. I was always very shy but after doing presentations I was able to get into public speaking and performing for large crowds.
Saladmaster was the first opportunity I had that inspired me to follow my dreams beyond just working for the company.
I'm still friends with Chris and use my Saladmaster cookware to this day.
It was a memorable experience. read more
