This is going to be controversial I think but so it goes. Maybe it was the general atmosphere of an all-inclusive, beautiful resort, by the water. Maybe it was the day-long drinking on the beach, followed by pre-dinner drinks. Maybe it was none of that, but, the ramen I had at Sakura Sunset was the best ramen I have ever had in my entire life.
If it wasn't the best ramen ever it was definitely way up there, especially in recent memory. For an all-inclusive experience, where the food could be a place the resort cuts corners, the ramen was probably one of the things that really stuck out in my time in Mexico (and I know how terrible it is to say that). I don't know what they would price the food at, I don't know what this place would be like if it were its own stand-alone restaurant, but for the experience and everything it was... I'm going to have dreams for years about the ramen. read more
