Fellow scout Angela R. introduced Saizen to me, and on my first trip I recall giggling at the sight of that yellow, obnoxious, banana carrying case (it's like, a house for your banana. Yep! They had it first before Groupon US, ok?).
If Japan Home Centre is mostly focused on home essentials (and a few not-so-essentials), Saizen makes it a point that the store is stocked with a plethora of tempting non-essentials! Which is really, really going to choke your wallet. You just want all of those japanese paper lanterns and origami paper and tiny wooden clothespins and a cat cookie cutter and garden elves and and and and...... @_@ It's probably a wise idea to stick to a budget before shopping here.
