Huh??? There was a metal box in a breezeway that said donations. Ok so I placed books underneath so someone with some ambition could sort in the morning. Nope, guy comes out and says I am littering. Took books to Goodwill. Don't know what was up with this apparently lazy man. Won't donate again despite being a generous patron over the years.

Although, it was my elementary school and is a place I will always remember attending. My childhood memories were spent here with teachers that were so kind and helpful to aid me in learning. I remember the reading competitions that the grades had to see who could read to earn a trophy. I still have the trophies in my room...lol. I remember when there was a red car on the playground and I remembered when the playground guards would tell you to not throw snow b/c some kids would get hurt when it had ice in it and it would injure them. This elementary school was the school I had the best times at as a child. My street was right behind the school and I remember once yelling to my house at the edge of the playground thinking that my mom might be able to hear me...I didn't realize that she was most likely inside and wouldn't hear me at all. I loved gym class, art and music. I rememember my 2nd grade teacher letting me bring in my parakeet to show the class. I remember getting stickers on my paper and I remember the art show that the school had which was when the students artwork would be shown in the hallways. Overall, I had some wonderful lasting memories at this school. I will always remember attending Whiteford Elementary and learning about so many things. I like to think that part of the reason I want to become a teacher is because they had given me such personal attention and such pride in my work as a child and that I look up to them because of that:)

The project based learning allows the students to gain a much better understanding of what they are learning and as a result are able to retain that information. The facilitators are all amazing and show GREAT care for not only my son but all of the children. The entire staff from the facilitators to the administrative staff are really invested in helping the children become the best them they can be. We took our son out of a Montessori school and we travel 25-30 minutes everyday(sometimes 2-3 times a day) to bring him to iLEAD Spring Meadows because the school is providing him with the education that is going to help him to become a creative-leader that will be able to keep up with the changing times of today's advance society, which is something he just wasn't getting from his previous school. His growth from when he first started to the end of his first year was amazing. He is scoring higher than his grade level in math and he has been grabbing books and sounding out the words and reading them all summer. He is going into the 1st grade and I am so very excited to see his continued growth progress. If you are looking for a school that embraces technology, teaches your child (even as young as Kindergarten) not only the basics of computers but also coding, that allows your child to be creative and express themselves in art and dance, that works with your entire child (the social/emotional and academic), that takes the time to work with your child individually, that allows your child to be themselves and embrace and love who they are, that teaches them there are many ways of doing things instead of just one, that teaches them about the world and the many cultures within it and a school that helping to mold your child into the LEADER of tomorrow then iLEAD Charter School Spring Meadows is definitely the school for you. My son LOVES it here and he tells EVERYONE about his school and his passion for it. I in fact have a daughter whom attends this childcare. She has been nothing but loved on by her teachers in the time she has been attending. While the education and lessons are lacking I have begun to see an improvement in the curriculum. This change I've seen in a short amount of time since a tenured director / directors assistant step down from their positions and the new "agnostic" director took over. ( Not sure why a couple of "Christian" women would attack a person who is in search of her creator but anyway I digress. ) Another thing that I have would like to address is while yes it is true about the weirdo that had been found with child pornography did work at the church this news came out several years after working in the childcare and even one on his closest friends was shocked by the news never suspecting this person was involved in such activities. Each staff member that works during childcare hours whether teachers or administrators are vetted through a background check and fingerprinting process. All of the teachers I have ran into when dropping/ picking my child up from daycare have been very kind to my daughter and always have a story to tell about her day. To base your stance on the childcare because of one terrible, disgusting, loathsome egg is unfair. As far as the christianity of this childcare I can attest to the fact that they do indeed pray before meals and possibly nap time as my daughter always reminds my wife and I we have to pray before both activities. While I hope to see further biblical education as the new director takes over and begins to make the necessary changes the childcare needed so badly. The new director is approachable and pleasent to speak with she is always lending a hand to her teachers as I've seen her more out and about assisting the teachers as needed then I ever did under the old administration. She also welcomes suggestions for improvement from both her staff and the parents. She truly has a heart to grow and develop this childcare. As far as the price goes I think the price alone suggests that this is not just business but a ministry to serve the needs of the community. As you could could go anywhere else and spend 2,3, even 4 times the price to get the same care for your child as you do here. As far as the turnover goes here there is quite a bit of turnover but that is to be expected for any minimum wage position. The people that work here aren't in it for the money. They're in because they enjoy their work and take pride in where they work. And those who are there for the pay work there until they can find something better but they also have some very devoted teachers who have been there for 5+ yrs. The atmosphere of the daycare is much lighter and cheerier since the new director has taken over she even has taken the time to brighten the rooms up with some fun child oriented colors. Before I swear to you it felt like you were walking on eggshells and the tension was so thick you could cut it with a knife. While the overall educational curriculum could be improved this is safe place where your child will be loved, cared for and fed for a reasonable price.

They're open until 10 & 11pm and on Saturday's! That is really what we needed with our work schedules and once in a while we can take a date night! I have gotten to know some of the staff and I feel my kids are happy and safe here. I can always pop in to see what's going on and they're so easy to work with. I have been sending my son to Kidzwatch, Perrysburg since he was 10 months old. He didn't have any…read moreproblem there until the management changed recently, about 5 or 6 months back. All the old girls who worked there have been replaced with new ones and the new girls are inexperienced and inefficient to say the least. They're extremely rude. My son's dad is outside the country due to work and so my son, who is extremely attached to his dad, is unable to see his dad for the last 3 months and this has made my son suffer from feelings of insecurity and abandonment issues and his emotional problems have turned worse due to the negligence and ill-treatment he suffered at the hands of the girls who are working in Kidzwatch now. My son is four years old going to be five years next month. Kidzwatch does not have the facility to accommodate children above 2 years. They believe that a child above 2 years is going to stay quiet like an infant all through the day without engagement in any activity. They would make children sit in front of the tv expecting them to be quietly watching tv most of the day. They don't have any playground. The one playground they use is a small fenced out space with nothing entertaining for a small child to do. The two-room facility is so cramped that if you have an active child like mine, he cannot walk or run freely. Their entrance door can be easily opened by a toddler or a small child. When my son tried to run out of the door, instead of admitting their own mistake in not getting the door fixed and keep it child-friendly, they continuously put the blame on my four year old son that he is the one causing nuisance and he is becoming a "liability". I told them many a time that my son is going through emotional problems, but the girls there continuously heckled him. He got so scared of Kidzwatch that at the end he would throw a fit every time I used to take him there. He would cry for hours not wanting to go there. When my friend went to drop my son, the girls there told my friend that she has done a study in psychology and that my son might have aspergers. Another one told my friend that my son is the worst child in the daycare. If they're making these unqualified diagnosis and saying nasty things about my son to my friend, I wonder what were the things they were saying to my son there. No wonder he acts like a scared kitten every time I mention the name of Kidzwatch to him now. I feel sorry for the quality of the service there turning so bad in the last few months. This was the same daycare I celebrated my son's birthday at last year. For the poor service they provide, their price is one of the highest in Perrysburg. Please do your research before sending your children to this facility. PS: I must mention here that these things have been happening to my son ever since the management changed and the old girls like Emma, Brittney and Taylor are gone. The new girls are pathetic. They don't have any experience of taking care of a small child. One girl who stays in the evening sent me a message saying that he is running around and is not listening to her and that I must take my son home immediately. I thought they only send children home when they throw up or get sick.
