I would say everybody here is welcoming, not pushy and just eager to meet other new members. The inside has a coffee bar kid space and plenty of area to visit Pre and Post church festivities. If you're looking for a church, this is a good place to start.

On my first visit, I loved that everyone was welcoming and the pastors were talking about connection and building relationships in the church. Which was something I was looking for. They were starting a Stay and Eat after service so people can get to know each other. That day I visited the welcome table and signed up for a small group. 2. The preaching is awesome. Pastor Kim originally drew me in, she is real and passionate. I love that Pastor Kim and Dave also preach together. You don't see that very often. 3. The worship is awesome, I always feel God's presence. I love that they have worship before and after the message. It's a great time of reflection. 4. They have many groups and ministries for every age. I've only been here a few months, and I joined the women's group and also volunteering on the media team. If you're looking for a church that is welcoming and to connect and grow, I highly recommend checking out One Church!

The expository teach of the word is helping me and my family grow stronger in our faith for Jesus Christ. I didn't want a mega church or a production for service. Just give me Jesus. Pastor Gino and our elders do a wonderful job of that. Praise God for leading us in the direction of FBC of Ripon. We are blooming where he has planted us! Hallelujah!! Stop for a Sunday service to receive the gospel straight from the bible!! You are welcome here.

It is a Christ centered and Biblically based church community that lives in the hope of the Gospel. There is a good blend of mentors and younger families. The worship music also blends older hymns and contemporary music. The pastor preaches with conviction and belief in the Word and it is what he and the leaders of the church truly live in their daily lives. He likes to say that he takes the Gospel seriously but himself not so much. If you are looking for a church home that has the Bible at the heart of its teaching, is welcoming, fun, growing and loving then this is the place to check out.

I've found something in this church that is completely unique from any church I've attended. First…read moreof all, I'm new to the area. I've also attended the same church for nearly a decade (Bay Area). Subsequently, my initial feeling was a tug on my heart that said "I miss my family" even though I already knew it was time to spread my wings and find a new church home. Not just for myself, but for my daughter as well. She's 3 1/2, and is just now beginning to understand things so it's important as her mother to allow her to experience God in the way that I have. First of all, I noticed right away that people here are not focused on how you dress. They genuinely want you to join their family as long as your there, and to just "come as you are". I was greeted by so many friendly people, many of which were wearing 49ers jerseys because it was playoffs day. Evidently, the Pastor is a football fan because he was wearing one too! Nope! No suit and tie here. When I dropped off my daughter at the preschool classroom, it was more than obvious that she had enjoyed her time there. In fact, she didn't want to leave. One of the volunteers offered that I stay a few minutes to make sure she was settled in. I pondered it until she took off running with another kid her she laughing and playing. She was just fine. The process of signing her in and out and the badge number provided to me were every simple steps. I think some other aids has kids in the classroom as well. I felt confident and reassured leaving her in the preschool room. That's a huge step for a mom that isn't sure about such a new place herself. The music was positively phenomenal. We sang modern day songs you'd find on KLOVE, all to the beat of a band with extremely talented singers, guitarists, bassists, keyboard player, etc along with lighting and other "bells and whistles". It was truly an experience! Love it! The pastor didn't preach a sermon, rather a very powerful message. One that we cup if all understand. He spoke with such conviction and passion that we were on our feet clapping. His core message was simple: "you cannot see the harvest until you see the harvest". In other words: trusting in God through the hard times is recognizing the blessings He promises after the storm passes. As he spoke, he wandered up and down the isles, providing scripture and analogies, jokes that had us laughing, all with photos & scriptures posted on the monitors so we could follow along. The message felt quite personal, as should any true pastor that speaks the Word of God. I left truly impressed. Since that day, I've attended several more times. It was music to my ears that's boyfriend wanted to come, and his two girls also wanted to attend. Typically, Sunday school comes with a lesson, then perhaps a snack and play afterward. Keep in mind this is for ages 7-9 yrs. The day they attended was Super Bowl Sunday. All classes were combined and the kids competed in games and won prizes. They had a blast. I just hope they continue to, and that they continue to want to go. Before meeting me, they hadn't ever gone to church. My boyfriend (their dad) hadn't been in a lot longer. I was so happy to have someone beside me in church. Everyone went home happy, with one toddler crying because we were leaving, and two little girls asking if they could go next week. lol. I enjoyed the service just as much as they enjoyed their time. I'm incredibly blessed to find such a rare diamond in the city of Manteca. Although it's hard to start over, I can't help but feel right at home here.

On this date, I helped put to rest a loving strong grandmother of a dear friend at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Ripon. This house of worship was her parish, so it only seemed fitting that her funeral service and eventual burial would take place here. For a time, "Noni" was a grandmother-in-law to me as I was married to one of her grandchildren. She, like most of my relatives, was always about feeding people, and she made wonderful authentic Italian food with a ton of butter, so I had no problem consuming whatever she put in front of me! I understood she was a very giving and loving woman to anyone who ever got caught in her orbit. Were we able to equally give back to her all that she gave in life as we gathered at St. Patrick's Church!? EXPERIENCE I was a pallbearer for my friend's grandmother's funeral, so once all of us arrived at the church, we were briefed by the mortuary staffers what our responsibilities were before the service and ceremony started. Once everything started, it was a straightforward Catholic service. The priest was respectful and showed patience as there were several elderly guests. About 1.5 hours later, the church service wrapped up, at which time the priest then led us to the onsite cemetery where my friend's grandmother was to be laid to her final resting spot. Once we arrived at the burial site, a few kind words were said, my pallbearer duties concluded, and everyone gave their last goodbyes and well-wishes. There wasn't much pomp and circumstance for this funeral service which was fine by me. It was simple while the weather was warm and inviting. "May you rest in peace, Noni; you treated me with respect and fed me well while we knew each other." SERVICE Aside from the mortuary staff, the priest, and altar boy, there really wasn't much else. Things appeared to run smoothly with the one exception of missing pallbearer gloves - amen! PARKING (FREE) They had their own medium lot - 'nuff said! ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE A medium-sized church with two sections filled with wooden pews and bibles, the altar was the focal point, and your usual assortment of Catholic decorations and effigies such as statues (e.g. The Virgin Mary, Jesus), the Stations Of The Cross, and definitely a more modern feel versus the more traditional feel of my own parish. Outside, there were also some statues https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&select=di_NBvR46q9mx7hW6CJtEQ that welcomed you in. The quaint onsite cemetery https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&select=GAAfjmqBpW2qcr3t-Vd5mw was very convenient on this occasion. Plenty of muted natural lighting came through the many stained-glass windows and doors while electric ceiling lights filled in the rest. There weren't any TVs or monitors like some modern churches I've experienced while hymnal music was sung and played in the background. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&select=QvFZ9W96CovKb4mAqelWoQ ATTIRE Out of respect for the occasion, I was in all-black long-sleeve buttoned-up collar shirt, dress slacks, and dress shoes. OVERALL Generally speaking, St. Patrick's Catholic Church https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&select=lEYSP2t5D2bVdGm1-60nYA was fine and it truly satisfied the needs of the occasion. From an aesthetics standpoint, it was a bit too modern for me; I guess I'm just so used to my parish which still held onto most of the traditional aspects of decor, prayer, etc. Again this was more of a personal thing and nothing else. I found very good value based on the service and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $0.00 BEFORE any discounts and/or tip). And, it was highly irrelevant whether or not they accepted my credit card of choice... AMEX! 4.0 STARS
