The barman greeted us warmly and offered to bring our drinks over while we browsed the menu. Here you can choose from the seafood specials board, lunch and their everyday menu. I highly recommend anything that has fish in it as it is all locally sourced... After much oomming and ahhing I settled on the seafood linguine and my companions had the crab fishcakes. When the food arrived I was happy. The amount of seafood in my dish was incredible. Small and large prawns, salmon, smoked haddock, scallops and mussels all swimming in a sea of fresh homemade pasta... the sauce was a flavoursome creamy white broth which was not too dense. Everything just tasted so fresh , even the crab fish cakes served with homemade chips. By the time we were half way through our meal the place was full..again if you want to come here you must book to save disappointment. I've always been in a big group every time I've been here and can attest that it's a great venue for friends and families. The food is largely local and seasonal.
