The staff are very friendly, even bringing us paper towels to dry off when we had walked there in heavy rain. The pizza deals are hard to beat, where else can you get a 12 inch pizza with as many toppings as you like for £3? Being vegetarian I haven't sampled the delights of the famous Middlesbrough Parmesan which looks disgusting, but the pizza is unbeatable. Ordered food and waited 3 hours and still hadn't received it…read more Phoned up to see where it was to the guy on the phone with no customer service skills screaming down the phone saying he has tried ringing me 20 to 30 times (lies didn't ring once) and claiming that his driver has been to my place 3 times and each time knocked on the door and got no answer (I live in flats and have an intercom which he didn't attempt to press why is that? Because your driver was never there). When I mentioned about the intercom he said the driver even came up the stairs to my door and knocked on the door itself (thats amazing as the only way you can get in is by having a key to the flat or getting buzzed in by the intercom). After a 10 minute screaming contest and not actually listening to what I was saying and claiming his driver never lies and hasn't for 5 years while working there he screamed some more telling me to never order from there again (don't worry I won't be as the customer service on the phone was disgraceful and the pure lies that were told to me, told me enough not to order from you lot again). I then went and ordered from another place received my food within 30/40 minutes and amazingly my intercom was rang and guess what I went and answered the door because they actually delivered the food unlike Tony's. PS: Ive never done a review before and making my first one ever and maybe only one ever just to tell all that read this to never use that place. The service towards its customers is disgusting and disgraceful and no matter what they will protect their colleagues/themselves when they haven't made the food and sent it or they can't do the simple thing and either actually ring the customer if they do send out a driver or get the driver to actually ring the customers intercom and not make up BS lies.
