Holy cats! Why haven't I ever heard of this place. Looks like a total hole in the wall but don't let that fool you this place is loaded with epic sweet treats. First time here. Just moved to the area, and I expected more of a diner. What we found was a quiet, relaxed and friendly atmosphere with a menu that boggles the mind. Breakfast, lunch or coffee, doesn't matter. Their baker... i'm pretty sure is on loan from the Smithsonian or has tools made from the horn of a unicorn. At first I was bummed that they're only open until 4pm, but now I am thankful that is the case, in order to avoid a singularity of awesomeness that would swallow the world. although their ice cream is wonderful, they seem to have a staffing problem and especially on a holiday weekend when they should have several to serve but this past holiday, they only had one staff person and when I asked if they were all, their reply was, " town is ten minutes away if you are in a hurry", so I left. I felt really humiliated and I won't recommend this place to anyone and their ice cream is no different than what is served in Davis, WV and the atmosphere is not as hostile. read more
