I understand that there is a process but grieving persons contact an attorney because they trust that this horrible situation will be handled from start to finish. We are not expecting to come with a plethora of documents in hand. If you have money and are well off, and have support to do the running around, calling, emailing agencies who move slowly on purpose then this is the place for you. But, if you are a lay person, this is not the place. There are in a position to help and ultimately chose not to if they are not presented with everything upfront. Most attorneys do the leg work. Agreeing with Mark below and Tom Marc G. New York, NY 1015725 Apr 4, 2024 Atrocious customer service and communication. I brought a case to them almost 18 months ago regarding my mother being mistreated in a nursing home and all they did was waste a year-plus of my time where I could have found another attorney to take the case. The only way I found out they decided to drop the case after almost a year and a half was when I called them to notify them that my mother had died. Even then I still didn't get a phone call back from them so not only are they incompetent and unresponsive, they are insensitive to boot. I would strongly advise anyone who needs an attorney for any kind of nursing home issues to look elsewhere because they do not care you will be just a number and in the end be completely ignored.

As a matter of fact we ended up getting screwed over several times in our home buying process because of how do-nothing she was. She wanted her money and to be done. She wanted to put no effort up for the good of her clients. A couple times, she sounded concerns and had us take picture of things and make it sound like we would get some retribution but then nothing came of it. I mean seriously the worst lawyer and honestly no better than the crazies we bought our home from. Switching lawyers midway through was not an option due to the time sensitive nature of the deal otherwise we would have. Maybe she can handle less complicated dealings that don't require any thought or effort but don't waste your money if you actually have an investment to protect.
