In all the years we have been trading this is by far the worst management I've came across. We had a meeting with Nick who manages the store about working together. Agreeing to any customers we can not accommodate in our own storage facility and recommending them to Safestore and in return they will recommend us. He explained on behalf of our customers we can set up an account directly with him to save any inconvenience of our customers going to the store to sign a contract via ourselves. Sounded great at the time, but the first of many lies. He even went on to explain that any customers we have trouble receiving payments with they would legally take care of, more lies. A customer he recommend used our service to move into storage this customer was always late paying us so we paid soon as we received it in our account. He then put late payment charges what is understandable but when telling the customer they refused this. I explained this to him that legal proceedings need to happen as we are losing money. This is where his true colours come out no help what so ever. After expressing my opinion of the situation to him and his staff we stopped receiving recommendations took us off their website but did not have the decency to make us aware of this, so we was still recommending them to customers and had them on our website for storage recommendations. They now recommend a company that is not Ltd, not VAT registered, Don't employ any staff all none uniforms. I let you make your mind up on that but I know I would want at least a Ltd company with uniform staff who are employed not doing a bit of cash in hand. Mo the regional manager did take the time out to call after we contacted HQ but all bridges was burnt by then. read more
