This was done in a private message. Instead of addressing each of my issues that I reviewed on a public forum as a response to the review, the owner or manager Thomas decides to continuously, in a series of messages, threaten me. Obviously this shows a serious lack of professionalism where a business owner threatens the customer privately if they don't get a positive review? This is called EXTORTION, and these actions say so much more than my words need to say.

I LOVED Mel. I was searching everywhere for a salon that had good reviews and was English friendly…read moreand I finally found this one. I made the appointment online (really simple) and was able to find an appointment with Mel for the same day. The salon is really cute. The waiting area is this upstairs loft area and below are the chairs, mirrors, etc. Mel was great. I brought a bunch of pictures what I wanted (a "lob" aka long bob) and she knew exactly what I wanted. She's very easy to talk to, even in English, and very sweet. I definitely recommend this salon, especially to English only speakers. It's really scary to go to a new salon and have a language barrier but Mel made everything ok. She is definitely up to date with all the trends so you don't need to worry about getting a cut that will make you look like a soccer mom or something. Prices are reasonable. I paid about 70€ for the hair cut (I cut off about a foot of hair), which is about the same as what I paid in the states. I plan on going back to Mel in the next couple weeks to get a balayage done.

I am very disappointed. I had booked a head spa with a Shiatsu massage, which was supposed to cost…read more€50. The salon is very poorly furnished and lacks a pleasant atmosphere, not to mention the sewage smell. The staff speaks very little English and almost no German. After the head spa, my hair was "dry combed." In the end, I was charged €75 for additional washing and blow-drying, without even being asked! I cannot recommend this place at all

Ever wary of having my long, thick hair cut by someone new (especially here in Germany) I gave Pano…read morea try and can't wait to go back. Something about his friendly, patient manner even inspired me to go a little wild -- we hacked about 8 inches off my crazy mane! I was fairly clear about my wishes (keep it long enough to put up, lose some bulk, bring some movement/layers in) but was still shocked by how much he transformed my hair. I can't stop raving about it! Also, while my professional blowout was admittedly divine for 2 days after the cut, my usual lazy regimen (wash, let air dry) still accomplished the style he created for me. I consider that to be no small feat, and a sign (along with graceful growing-out) of a skilled stylist. I love my hair so much (he expertly enhanced its volume, shed weight, and renewed my shaggy layers) I actually can't wait to go back. ...did I mention what a sweetheart he is? GO SEE PANO!

I couldn't have wished for better highlights- especially since it was her first time coloring my hair. She did a better job than my Aveda colorist at home! I booked the mobile service for my office during Halloween to get everyone's makeup done for the…read moreholiday. Multiple people including myself were not happy with the makeup they did. I provided a picture for the makeup artist that did my makeup to follow and it took her an hour to complete and the quality was something I could have done better myself. She used no highlighter/contouring and the only reason I didnt wipe it off was one of my friend fixed it afterwards. She then was able to do only one other person who's makeup looked like it should have taken 15 minutes and it took her the rest of the time (we had her for 2 hours). We also started late (partially because she was late) so I assumed she would stay the full 2 hours and not leave right at the appointed time. The other artist did one of my coworkers makeup for almost an hour and she was so unhappy with it she wiped it off. To her credit, she improved as she did more people, but it was obvious that doing makeup was not her full time job. Also, both of them smoked directly prior to starting and their fingers smelled like smoke which was really uncomfortable. Overall, me and my friends could've done better makeup, at the prices they're charging, they need to find more talented artists and manage customers expectations better. I also reached out to the business following this appointment to express my concerns and got no response (which was ironic because they were VERY responsive and proactive when collecting payment).

Language barrier aside, since my German was barely passable at the time haha, all the barbers were super chill, friendly, and capable. I got my hair cut by three barbers there, one named Ali who was a master, incredible, and another guy named Saadi who was excellent, very polite and detailed. These guys know how to cut short hair in the latest fashionable styles, and I should add that they also knew how to cut Asian hair! That was such a relief, living overseas. Highly recommended for a fast, affordable, and trendy haircut. I hope they're doing well still.

It was raining and I wanted to get a bit more comfortable. It was 14 euro for eyebrow threading and lip wax. The threading was one of the least painful I've had, and it was so good that my friend decided to get her's done, even though she usually declines since she doesn't want her eyebrows to be thinner. Her's looked great also. There is a little massaging of rose oil into the area after they are done. We needed to exchange money also, and they were so helpful in finding us a place to do it. I didn't take any photos inside but it's gorgeous and very clean. There were people who came in while we were there. It's in a really interesting part of Munich that I'm glad we discovered.
