This place is kinda beaten up. It looks like it was once a glorious park, but now is in disrepair.
At one end of the park is something that looks like a subway vent, made into twisted metal. There's a long pool, now empty and full of graffiti, and looks too damaged to hold water again.
However, there are some nice metal sculptures of local goddesses or heroines, which are nice. It's a long and narrow park, with walkways throughout. Stay outta the grass, because there were dog turds everywhere when I went.
Some of the park benches looked to be out of repair, and were covered in graffiti as well. I didn't see any picnic tables.
There seemed to be plenty of parking alongside the perimeter sidewalk. read more
