My favourite store in a town where there are many choices! I…read moream an 'out of towner', but every few months I am lucky enough to pass through Fairfax and always make a beeline to Heart Tribe. Heart Tribe is much more than just a store full of hand picked, and much of it hand made, esoteric merchandise. It is a place full of healing energy born of the love of the beautiful souls who make the merchandise sold by Lili and her tribe of healers and knowledgeable staff. Last summer I bought my Hampu Medicine Hat, imbued with prayers and blessings. I chose my own piece of blue agate to add to my hat and help balance my throat chakra. I love my hat and all the other dreamy pieces I have from this store. I have been privaleged to attend a Sound Bath and a Cacao Ceremony held at Heart Tribe. On both occasions I felt 'held' and nurtured in the living atmosphere created by the healers and the other shining souls partaking in the rituals. I would recommend Heart Tribe to anyone on the path of esoteric self discovery as the perfect place to experience and explore divine delights.

Moving forward it is a wise choice this environment to provide a receipt to validate the item and also have a means to return anything. She can tell you her name 20 times and you still will not remember her name. Family owned and multitude of different varieties of items. education and what's going on with the items that are for sale and vendors can come in as well to do consignments so there's a large vast amount of a lot of different items. Lady N does restringing for jewelry bracelets necklaces as well tennis racket restringing. I got a couple of necklaces done that I haven't been able to where cuz they were broken. We came in to this shop some months ago looking for a very specific incense, which is difficult (if not impossible) to find here in the US. The shop owner said she would be travelling to Nepal in a few months and would look for this particular incense at the grand market (she indicated that every kind of incense could be found there). I left my phone number with her and, quite frankly, did not expect to hear back. I WAS SO WRONG! She called me back exactly as she had promised upon returning to the US to let me know that she found the incense and had 10 boxes set aside for me. I was so blown away that she remembered and thought to call me. Of course, I bought all her stock in this incense because who knows when we would ever find it again! In case you're wondering, the incense is called Aparajita. It is the scent that the Beatles burned during their recording sessions beginning with the Revolver album. And, no, I don't believe they have any left, because we cleaned them out. :) LOL Also, I learned that in some cases the FDA won't sign off on some imports due to ingredients that have not been approved. I can only speculate why this incense is so hard to find here, but I do wonder if it has something to do with that. Regardless, as Beatles fans and as we carefully attempt to recreate "the vibe" of that recording sesh, we are eternally grateful that this shop assisted us with this search. A million thank yous!!!

When I went back to ask another question, she stared at me and then walked off. Another employee begrudgingly helped me. The two women working in the other building were deep in personal convo and looked SO annoyed when I asked about the gift items area. When I was rung up, there was no "thanks" or "have a good day", just silence. Wow, these ladies are so rude and such a buzzkill!! I debated leaving a review, but after I came to check other patrons experiences, I see this is their M.O and it should be a good warning to all that shop here.
