Sabores was the 1st stop to dine upon arriving to Colima...and our last for breakfast heading out!
Sabores is clean and tastefully decorated and offers indoor and patio dining. I found the service to be warm and friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. It's American tourist friendly (meaning they speak some English if you're in a pinch).
The best dish IMO was hands down the Enchiladas Dulces. Enchiladas in a red sweet mole sauce and inside is an unusual ground beef filling with nuts and raisins. It's real trip! TRY IT!
Next up are the sopes. Six in a plate and at the center a mild tomato salsa. Finally the chilaquiles. Damn man...it's painful to write about how perfect they were cause I want some now! Can be ordered with scrambled eggs mixed in or not.
Overall:
I believe this place is part of the hotel we stayed at so it'll be there for your next visit to Colima. I'm already looking forward to the next visit!
