Beyond the views of the golf course, the rolling Sierra Mountains can also be seen in the background distance. The seating area at Speer's is abundant. Lots of four person tables and even a bar seating area with elevated, single seats. Not mentioned on their menu, I ordered a Tri Tip, grilled cheese sandwich which came with a side. I opted for their backed beans. My sandwich was really tasty. Lots of meat and cheese melted around it and just the right amount of BBQ sauce to know you were eating a BBQ sandwich. SCENE: Speer BBQ is located in the rural, Southend of Tracy at the Tracy Gold Course. If you drive South on Chrisman Road, just follow it until you dead end, beyond the 33 and Highway 580 freeways. In the end, I would have to say that El Parral had, hands-down, the freshest, best tasting meat of all of the trucks. The carnitas was moist and crunchy (not at all gamy tasting like some of the other trucks), the carne asada was flavorful and delicious, and the chicken--how do they make chicken taste soooo good???? You have got to try this truck. They are actually located on the south side of Woodland Ave, East of Carpenter Road, before the freeway overpass.
