We also tried Mikes Mushroom bisque, oh man it was off the hook. Tracy people you don't know what you are missing, great ambience ( right on the golf course). We were early like 10 am it started to fill up; would expect more with the quality of food. Mike Katie are such great hosts.

A little over a year ago, they moved their weekly operations to a new location at the 19th hole, at the Tracy Golf Course. NARRATIVE: I was invited to Speer BBQ for lunch a few weeks ago by a friend. After arriving, I was surprised to see how nice the set up was at Speer's BBQ new location. Big floor to ceiling windows overlook the golf courses putting and front nine holes. Beyond the views of the golf course, the rolling Sierra Mountains can also be seen in the background distance. The seating area at Speer's is abundant. Lots of four person tables and even a bar seating area with elevated, single seats. Not mentioned on their menu, I ordered a Tri Tip, grilled cheese sandwich which came with a side. I opted for their backed beans. My sandwich was really tasty. Lots of meat and cheese melted around it and just the right amount of BBQ sauce to know you were eating a BBQ sandwich. SCENE: Speer BBQ is located in the rural, Southend of Tracy at the Tracy Gold Course. If you drive South on Chrisman Road, just follow it until you dead end, beyond the 33 and Highway 580 freeways. RECOMMENDATION(S): Well worth the visit.

The line was considerably long around 7:30 p.m. so it took a while for us to order and receive our food. I like that the tacos here are single tortilla -- as opposed to double tortillas, so the filling to tortilla ratio feels a lot more balanced. For both tacos, the meat is incredibly tender and flavorful. Although a bunch of sauces and garnishes are provided, the taco was good enough on its own. Of the sauces we received, my favorites to add was a squeeze of lime and the red sauce, which had a nice smokey Chipotle flavor and wasn't overly spicy. My friend ordered a quesadilla and it was absolutely massive! I definitely would only recommending ordering a quesadilla if you're sharing it, or if you're coming with a massive appetite. Overall, Tacos El Sazón Oaxaqueño was a nice gem we randomly stumbled upon while routing to In-N-Out for burgers. Between the two, I would certainly save my stomach space for tacos from Tacos El Sazón Oaxaqueño next time.

Then you have customers hyping it up before you order, making my mouth water drool but when you get your order and take a bite you like yuck This is not a 5 place neither is it worth 4 . At best it's rated a 1 . The food is not even seasoned. Yes it's big portions but no season in the taco meat. I got 4 asada tacos and 1 asada torta for the cost of $29 and both orders weren't seasoned. Service was low level. Ambiance is a parking lot. The music was the only thing that was good. I really can't believe people be so excited to be in line for unseasoned food. Never again. So yes this is not a place I'd recommend to anyone.

I usually stick to the…read moresame restaurant in town for molcajetes, but Sofia's popped up on social media and theirs looked great. They were also advertising a free margarita for couples with reservations, which we had but our server never asked about it. We were seated quickly, but that was the only quick part of the night. It took over 35 minutes just to get water, and we weren't allowed to order everything at once. The food order took another 15-20 minutes. My partner's camarones arrived first and were warm and delicious, the shrimp sauce was a 9/10. My molcajete arrived later and looked nothing like the one advertised. It was missing items like cheese and chorizo, and the menu doesn't clarify different versions. The sauce was cold and lacked flavor; only the asada stood out. By the time it arrived, my rice and beans were already cold. Maybe they were overwhelmed by the Valentine's crowd, but the food and service were disappointing. I won't be returning I'll be sticking with La Parilla for molcajetes.
