You know those places where if you're under 40, you're going to feel just a WEE bit out of place…read more Prestwick is kind of like that. It reminded me of a place my grandmother would LOVE. Rolls, iceberg lettuce salads, and kinda boring food. I didn't go there to golf, but rather went twice with my boss and some coworkers for a lunch out of the office. The food, despite the aging decor, was rather good. I had the chicken cordon bleu the first trip and the club sandwich the second. The club wasn't bad, but it reminded me that American food doesn't typically suit my palate. However, the cordon bleu sandwich was spot on. The chicken breast, which made me nervous when I first saw it (breast tends to be dry when I eat out), was moist and delicious. Can't complain there at all. Service was solid, my coffee mug was consistently filled and water glass never left empty.

The layout of the driving range allows you to be completely out of view of the pool shed. It was here that I was able to perfect my slice so that I could effortlessly drive my shots directly at their roof and / or parking lot. Or, you could just show up with your own used balls and swing away. It's highly unlikely that anyone will notice that you're on the range. No matter how terrible your swing is, you won't have to worry about golfing elites visiting this place. If you're really looking for some fun, use the handicapped range that's elevated 50 some feet.

They decided to come up with arbitrary rules to try to make our party spend more money than agreed upon initially and then did nothing to try to remedy the situation and didn't even apologize. The campgrounds themselves aren't terrible, though nothing special. An employee on a golf cart kept flying by kicking dust our way. The pool is nothing to write home about. It is FAR from heated like their website claims. The water was actually pretty freezing. Under the big slide they have outdoor carpeting over wood that clearly has something growing on/under it because its so slippery that we had just arrived and were walking slowly to try to find chairs and my son fell flat on his back as soon as he stepped on it. TONS of unsupervised kids. Like seriously. I know this is not necessarily the fault of the staff, but someone could have at least tried to enforce the "kids 5 and younger only" rule on the little baby turtle slide. Some huge kid kept whacking the little kids with a water noodle as they were trying to slide until I asked him where his parents were. The bathroom by the pool was pretty nasty. It smelled awful outside it and the stalls are beyond tiny. I would never pay full price to get into this pool ($10.50). Not worth it. Thought we might do the gem panning but that was $9.50 too. A little pricy in my book. Mini golf is $5.50 for adults and $4.50 for kids. If you're bringing multiple kids, this is far from a low budget outing. Luckily, all the kids with us had no clue there were issues, so they had fun. But all the adults were left with a bad taste in their mouths. I just can't get over the total lack of customer service. Uncalled for and really kind of silly this day in age when there are so many other options and so many ways for me to share my disgust with others. We live in a Yelp age, people! At least attempt to work with your customers rather than resort to name-calling and yelling.

Original review: I'm sorry, but I wouldn't hire Jon for your wedding. He played the wrong song (a…read moresurprise I hid for the entirety of our wedding planning) for when I walked down the aisle. During our first dance he kept playing with the fade and the music kept going in and out. A problem that followed him randomly the rest of the evening. He didn't start it right at the beginning either, so we were off one beat for our choreographed dance. He played songs through their entirety instead of skipping along, so people got bored of dancing after a minute. He said he'd skip through halfway or around a minute and told me to add extra songs. He didn't end the mother son dance at the right time either. It went on way too long, longer than they had practiced for, and I had to motion for him to cut the music. My husband had to tell his mom they were done and bowed before he cut it. All of this was specified in the planning forms then again over the phone We also asked that he did not allow song requests. Guess what happened? He allowed them, ruined the playlist I made, and I couldn't say no to the friends who asked me for a specific song after that. People requested songs during the wedding shower and didn't get to hear them! My husband is mad we tipped him before the night was over and after he messed up the biggest moment and surprise, which was walking down the aisle! I didn't even have the song he played listed (it was something from Phantom of the Opera, I requested a piano version of "All of Me", my husband's favorite song). You could hire him for a galla or birthday party, but not your wedding. You have too much to lose. Updated review: This man harassed me through text and calls for two days to remove our review. I HAD TO BLOCK HIM. He was trying to gaslight me, while in the same instance admitting he made huge mistakes. He tried to bribe us with money to take the reviews down, but not as a refund for doing a poor job. Only in exchange for a new removal of the old ones. I'm also going to mention he took photos during our "no phones" ceremony to promote his business. The only person standing in the aisle taking photos should have been our photographer. We were polite and formal to him especially the day of, and wrote the reviews when we returned from our honeymoon. I felt they were critical but not hateful. Two stars was generous. It's a good thing we weren't critical to him the day of because I'm certain he would have walked out. He also demands cash, check, or Zelle, so if something goes wrong or he doesn't show, you cannot refute the payment. Because this man was so insistent we speak in person, I now fear for my safety! This is a formal request to this business and anyone affiliated to stop contacting me and my family! DO NOT CONTACT ME FURTHER.
