The views on the short hop from…read moreLandungsbrucken to here are really breathtaking as the elevated railway snakes along the shore of the Elbe. Lately the sun has been shining and the docks and various river traffic look particularly good. You always tend to see something different everyday - a floating crane making its way upriver, or some such. Even in the rain, it's still good. Very... naval, like the opening seen in 'Hunt for Red October', or something. This is what Hamburg is all about.
