Beats predatory check cashing stores such as Ace cash express, California check cashing, and any other of those check cashing places that charge you so much of your check you end up needing the also predatory loan they conveniently offer as well. Discoteca Vallarta never left me feeling like those places will. They are extremely reasonable and you feel the difference right away. It's easy to see whose trying to help you and who's trying to take advantage of you.. They are also open later as the cherry on top! If you have used the others I've mentioned and not went here yet save a bunch of money and give them a shot. Guaranteed you will be happy you did. But as far as the overall package goes, Tri Counties Bank has been awesome. I switched to Tri Counties several years ago, when the mega bank I was with (rhymes with bells bargo) changed their policy, they gave me no interest and they made it more difficult to avoid monthly checking fees. I looked at different local banks and credit unions, and decided on Tri Counties. They really do offer great service. I earn interest on my checking account. It's not a huge amount, but it's better than paying a fee. Though we rarely use ATMs outside of the bank and supermarkets, the ATM fees are refunded as promised. When issues have come up, they have called me personally --something that has never happened with any mega bank I've been with. Online banking and bill pay is easy. And when I discovered some questionable charges on my account, I called them up right away. They acted right away --they cancelled my card and reissued a new one, helped me understand how my number was stolen and gave me good advice for protecting my card in the future, and they refunded the $40 that was stolen from my account.

Due to our recent move to yet another state, and the confusion that causes with Medicare insurance, I had a pharmacy turn down the insurance data that the carrier had provided, and Bill actually went way beyond the call of duty to straighten out the situation personally. That's service you cannot expect today, and I greatly appreciated it; hopefully, he will be our agent for many more years.
