Went into Klemmit Family Dental for tooth pain... walked out wondering if I accidentally booked an…read moreappointment at America's Next Top Dentist. Dr. Dr. Combs is so hot I genuinely forgot why I was there. At one point I was like, "Sir... was this a cavity or am I just distracted by your face?" Professional, gentle, knowledgeable--and yes, devastatingly attractive. My tooth feels great, my standards are now unrealistic, and I may suddenly believe in preventative dentistry just so I can come back. 10/10 dental care. 11/10 distraction. Highly recommend--just be prepared to forget your pain and possibly your name.

After 7 years as a patient, this office showed me exactly how little they value loyalty,…read moreprofessionalism, accountability, or basic respect for patients' time. My experience started with the office calling to confirm my appointment and giving me the WRONG time, which caused me to miss the appointment entirely after I had already rearranged multiple work meetings to make it there. I rescheduled for a 7:00 AM appointment the next morning the doctor's FIRST appointment of the day. I arrived on time, was taken back quickly, numbed for the procedure, and then abandoned in a chair in the farthest room of the office for approximately 45 minutes with zero communication. No one checked in. No one updated me. I eventually had to get up myself and go looking for staff to ask where the dentist and technician had disappeared to. Their explanation? They "got busy with other patients." So somehow the first patient of the morning was left sitting numb for nearly an hour while everyone else's time mattered more. At that point, I explained I was frustrated because this was already the second time I had rearranged my work schedule because of their mistakes and delays. Instead of professionalism, concern, or any real apology, the atmosphere immediately became cold and dismissive. The actual procedure only got worse. Between the original visit and the procedure itself, I had to endure SIX X-rays for a single tooth,  four during the first visit and two more the day of the procedure  because the technician repeatedly could not get the images correct. During this process, the same technician cut the roof of my mouth, causing unnecessary pain and irritation before the procedure had even started. During the second filling, the dental tech abruptly shoved her finger into my mouth hard enough to make me gag. Instinctively, I removed her hand from my mouth. Then, while checking my bite afterward, she made me gag AGAIN with the bite paper. By the end of the appointment, she mumbled something under her breath and walked out of the room, leaving me sitting there alone. Normally, staff remove the bib and properly dismiss the patient at the end of the visit. Instead, I sat there by myself until I finally took the bib off on my own and threw it into the sink before leaving. That moment perfectly summed up the entire experience careless, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. The next morning, I received a call from the office manager informing me that THEY had a complaint about ME from the technician. Imagine that. After wasting my time, mishandling my appointment, leaving me numb and unattended for 45 minutes, and creating an uncomfortable and unprofessional experience, THEY decided I was the problem. When I explained everything that had happened and stated that this experience was far below the standard I had received over the past 7 years, I was told I was no longer welcome back to the practice. That tells you everything you need to know about this office. This is an office that refuses accountability, punishes patients for speaking up, and treats long-term patients as disposable the moment they voice dissatisfaction. If this is how they handle routine scheduling, patient care, communication, and conflict resolution, I would strongly encourage people to think carefully before trusting this office with their dental care.

Also the manager, Tammy, does an awesome job at explaining any questions you may have regarding insurance and payments. Dr. Yu did an amazing job when I suddenly needed gum work. Not only did he explain everything that he was doing, but also made the procedure as quick and painless as possible. I will definitely return to him with any future work I may need. Finally, Janice does a WONDERFUL teeth cleaning. Not only is she the friendliest person you'll ever meet, but can find just about anything to talk about! One day I discovered Dr. Robert Yu. Read about him, I saw the picture, serious and calm man, and I thought to myself "This is the one". I have been going to him for few years, trying to fix the damage done by another doctor - Dr. Crawford. Yes, the one that had interview with the local TV, the one who after procedure have no time for you, and who's wife at the counter yelled at me for rescheduling an appointment. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Yu and his office girls. So gentle, so caring, so intelligent. Every year he is attending classes in EU to update his knowledge with the latest in dentistry. If you see his office, you will know that the equipment and the services he performs are different quality, from others. You don't feel the needle with anesthesia, implants are ceramic, one piece and much more. But the most important fact is:: He cares about the patient, he will not compromise for more expensive procedures, something many others do. And when the dentist cares more about money, the service you get won't be what you need and possibly create more problems. That is exactly what happens to me, and Dr. Yu has fixed everything. Knowing so many others, I am afraid to visit another dentist. Be very careful when you choose one. Your teeth are very serious business! Never write a review right after you had something done. The problem is treated, you feel good, but what happened after the anesthesia wear off? Always wait few months, at least. I made that mistake and many others have too. Then is not so easy to write a bad review for many people. It is not a happy experience, and some people don't care about others health being compromised.

I called Creating Smiles Dentistry after being told by another dentist office that I had to have EIGHT TEETH pulled. You heard me, EIGHT. Including my wisdom teeth, TWELVE. I wanted a second opinion. They agreed that that sounded extreme and got me in very quickly. I was very apprehensive, and explained to them over the phone how worried I was about my gag reflex and if I'd even be able to follow through with the work that needed to be done. They re-assured me that they would do everything they could to work with me, and let me tell you, they sure did. I arrived for my first appointment, nervous and shaking. As soon as you walk in, they offer you bottled water, and ask if you need anything. Wow, how sweet! I then was called back into a pristine clean room where I met Dr. Phane and her team. From there, it's all history. They have many ways to help you, if you are like me and have a horrible gag reflex. They are patient, caring, kind, attentive, and genuine. This is a very family-oriented dental team, who cares about all of their patients more than I've ever seen before. Or even heard of. They would give me salt to help with the gag reflex, and do my X-Rays and impressions so fast that I didn't even realize they were done! It was so easy! Hi everyone, my name is Morgan and I have Glioblastoma Multiforme Stage IV Terminal Brain Cancer. All I wanted was a beautiful smile before I passed away. And Creating Smiles Dentistry made this happen and exceeded my expectations. My eyes are full of tears as I write this long awaited review. As you read this review, please keep in mind, that I did get veneers, but the dental care here that I received prior to, and after, is out of this world. If you're looking for a caring community dentist, this is the place for you. If you're looking to get your teeth cleaned, this is the place for you. Whatever you are looking for, I have no doubt that Creating Smiles Dentistry will be your last stop for looking, and you will find whatever you need, want, or could imagine, done here. I explained my concerns, wishes, and needs to Dr. Phane, who quickly created an entire plan for my ENTIRE mouth. Starting out, filling cavities, root canals if needed, all that "fun" stuff. Then, we got to the exciting part. She constructed a 3D Model, including gum re-construction, of what she had planned. When I saw it, I cried. I never thought I would have straight, beautiful teeth, and seeing her holding this beautiful 3D Model of what her plan was for me, was absolutely mind-blowing. I had what some would call a "snaggle tooth" that stuck way out, and I wanted it gone. She explained the importance of having that canine tooth, and why she did not want to pull it. Instead, she wanted to reconstruct it! And that's exactly what she did. I was very eager to get started with veneers, but she also explained the importance of having all of my teeth that needed to be filled, or crowned, or what not done first, otherwise, veneers would just be a mask, but not a solution to my dental problems at that time. Fast forward 3 months. Here I am, 3 months later, with tears streaming as I write this out of love, gratitude, shock, and utter amazement with a beautiful, pearly white straight-toothed smile. Dr. Phane along with Nam (The Porcelain Veneer Lab Genie), made the impossible, POSSIBLE. They gave me confidence that I never had. I would never smile in photos, or I'd cover up my mouth. I'd even cover it if I laughed. And now, I want the world to see my teeth! I want the world to see me smile, to see me laugh, and I can do that without feeling insecure. These people, EVERYONE, at Creating Smiles Dentistry care. You aren't "just another patient" to them. They take the time you need, make accommodations for you, reschedule you if you cannot come in, and work with you in full. They make sure that you're comfort level, and what you are looking for, is taken care of with ease and patience. They really do care. More than any dentist office I have ever walked into. This place, and these people deserve a rating that is off the charts. 5 stars does not do them justice. If you want a beautiful smile, to feel confident again, and to feel listened to, and heard with outstanding results, then you have found the perfect dentist, right here at Creating Smiles Dentistry. Thank you beyond words to all of the wonderful staff, but mostly to Dr. Phane who made my dying wish, possible.

Wildly upsetting and frustrating experience! Online booking and phone/text communications were…read moregreat, and I agreed to the $99 full evaluation appointment. I made clear on phone and text that this was a second opinion consultation request, and everything seemed clear. It starts going wrong when at the intake documents. The Oracle "secure web portal" they send (by email and text) doesn't load in any browser, on any (Apple) device or computer.. Okay, stall-worthy, but I filled out analog papers (that hopefully somehow get turned secure?). On the intake questionnaire, I made clear my visit was for a comprehensive treatment plan for advanced cosmetic work (second opinion from another in DTSP), and wanting to figure out a financial strategy (like payment plan options, or co-paid reimbursements from my Humana PPO, etc). After a nice rapport-building private conversation (10-15 min discussion, good Q&A) with office manager - Kim S, I'm handed off to the Dr and assistant in an evaluation room (facilities were perfectly nice). After being (quickly) briefed on a summary of the intake conversation with Kim, the Dr (thoroughly) reviewed the structure, layout, aesthetics, (etc..) of my smile, and we quickly discussed 2-3 scenario solutions, in about 5 minutes. I had some questions, he provided some (professional) answers. There was a lot to talk about, and it was a lot to take in - bottom end starting at thousands ($) for a [spot treatment], over five-figures ($) for a [6-tooth section repair]. But ultimately, I was being advised of what I wanted - a solid, symmetrical smile (what we all want?). That solution was tens of thousands ($) - and I knew this going in. What I didn't know, and spelled out as the purpose of the visit, was "how to afford / finance / pay-over-time for it..". And when we were just left talking about a couple options ($6K-$30K+) without discussion about co-pay/reimbursement (why ask about my Humana PPO on paperwork?) and essentially figuring out how to "save up for [a car with no financing?], I was pretty upset. The Dr quickly took this as too much drama and said 'Okay, sorry we aren't the right solution' and hurried out of the room. I calmed myself down and talked with the office assistant (who was kind), and then just asked for the options on paper (treatment plan / estimate) to take away. I was promised they'd be emailed, asked to pay, and Kim the office manager insisted on waiving my $99 fee. I told them I was happy to pay for the work done. The next day I didn't hear anything back, so I used their automatic survey to message my query. The next day, I received a "Exit Letter" stating they would not provide the information I went in for (a treatment estimate). I called and spoke with a receptionist asking for what I came for. The next day they sent it, in all it's glory. Super nice place if you have all the money and no need for financial strategy to get it done... Looks like I'm forced to the other industry-leader in DTSP (everyone says that?)... Cheers!

Of all the local providers that were in network for my insurance, Dr Mang's office had the best feedback. I have overall had good experiences so far. I went in with the goal of finally fixing a front tooth that I broke in half back in 2004 that was getting darker over time. Before tackling that I had a series of smaller fillings and cleanings and things just to make sure I was in the right hands. The office has several dentists on staff (I think I've had all of them work on me at this point) and I really really love Dr. Ware. She is an absolute perfectionist, and when it comes to your front teeth you really want perfection. I wanted a zirconia crown for both durability and better color coverage. Those are lab made and have a week and a half to two week turn around vs same day porcelain. My temporary crown was not a great color but it was only there as a placeholder and I wasn't concerned. She revised the crown once it arrived as the color was off a little bit and the lab missed the notes on wanting to keep my center gap (I would rather have symmetry). I managed to knock the temp out a couple times in the midst of back to back hurricanes but by the time the final arrived I hauled ass to have her set it in and I couldn't be happier. It really looks like it belongs in my mouth. The front desk staff are fantastic. I love the text hotline and have used it to change appointment days/times because I find it easier than phone calls. The hygienists have been fantastic too. No one was too rough or too gentle on my teeth. And the waterfall fountain in the front office is a pretty sweet touch for those with anxiety about being in these offices.

I knew it was bad when I had to wait for over an hour after my first scheduled appt to get in with the xray tech. Then I got a whole 5 minutes with the dentist. All I really wanted was a cleaning. My teeth are in great shape, I've had all the orthodontia a kid could handle and have taken care of my teeth all my life. I had to wait another month for them to have an opening for a cleaning. I had a feeling they were gonna do an up charge as the dental assistant came in before I left to talk about how I need a deep cleaning to get back on track... ok whatever, I just want a cleaning. Fast forward to day of my appt. I leave work early and arrive to find this note. I try to call the following week.. Nothing and no way to get in touch with anyone in the entire company. Two weeks... nothing. Finally I call and get someone. Hello, why hasn't anyone called to reschedule my appt? No answer giving (didn't check to see if they had my correct contact info) but they are willing to schedule me in and I have to wait a few more weeks. I go today and tell them look I just want my regular cleaning that is covered fully by my insurance. They start to tell me they can't give me a regular cleaning... only the one with an estimate of $128 over what my insurance will pay. They couldn't just give me a regular cleaning and not do what the doctor "prescribed." Then they try to tell me that my appt was cancelled and they had called me. Surprise! They didn't have my number in their system correctly and had inverted two #s. Then they were trying to tell me since I didn't hit confirm on an email they sent me I'm out of luck. Excuse me? Unlike this office, I actually show up on time to my appts. They realize that this is problematic as I explain that this is the 2nd time I've had to leave work early to have you people mess up. They say ok... we'll have the hygenist look at you to discuss what's needed. I have to wait another 20 minutes and then we go back. I explain I just want a regular cleaning. He's looking at my teeth. It's obvious a regular cleaning would be fine. He tries to say there's a little bit of tartar here and there but says he can't overrule the dentist's "treatment plan" and that he's operating under his license. And guess what... the dentist isn't in on Weds or Fridays when they schedule the cleanings... so if there is a question or disagreement with your treatment plan... their hands are tied. So no cleaning is better for your oral health than a regular prophylaxis cleaning at this establishment. That makes perfect sense.
