Very disappointed. A friend and I were looking for a bowling alley in Espoo in which we could do…read moreweekly get togethers and enjoy ourselves. She wanted to go to Lippulaiva but I convinced her to go to Sello Bowl Circus. Big mistake! My friend arrived 8 minutes before 14:00 and I arrived 2 minutes before 14:00 - yet by the time he rang us up, it was 2:01 and he would not give us the 'before 2:00" price (and this was during the holiday week when the parking garage was nearly impossible to find a space quickly!). When we were going to walk, he grudgingly gave us the discount price - and pretty much treated us like we were jerks for even suggesting it when the register rang up at 14:01. When we went to our lane, we couldn't put our names in because the touchscreen was acting up - we finally figured out to randomly hit places on the screen and sort of get our name in. On the first frame, I knocked down 7 pins and it gave me a strike. Three more frames also screwed up during the hour we were there. Other times, the pin setter would get stuck and we'd have to track down the unhappy attendant to fix the lane. Really annoying considering we were on a timer for 1 hour and lost a lot of time with lane issues. When we talked to the attendant about it, he wasn't surprised we were having problems and pretty much shrugged it off like he was bored of hearing it. We were even randomly switched to the next lane over in the middle of a frame - guess the lane finally died. Odd, especially, since we were the *only* bowlers in the entire place and surely there was a lane that did work right in there. The lanes have black light 'mood lighting' and are fairly dark. It makes trying to see the aiming targets in the lanes very difficult. Nice for a date, I expect, not so much for everyone else. Also, the music turned from 70s mellow to rappers shouting "Nigger" and "bitch" over and over. I wanted out of there right then and there. In all, the way we were treated, the broken machines (both touch screen, the wrong counting of pins, and broken pin resetter), as well as being treated like 'dumb broads annoying the clerk' means that we will not be returning. Ironic, too, that this is a PREMIUM priced bowling alley for worse than discount experience. We'll be giving our business to Lippulaiva or Tapiola from here on out.
