Thick girl at the counter in evenings is rude and has a very bad attitude. You can tell because she goes from so happy chatting with her coworker to very miserable anytime someone needs checking out. Giving a lot of attitude for no reason. I went there twice in the last two weeks and the first time I was in a very good mood, was very nice and she just had so much attitude and was obviously miserable at her job. The second time I didn't bother being all nice I just asked for what I needed and paid, said thank you. Again same miserable attitude, as soon as I was done she turned to her friend to start smiling and carrying on again as if I interrupted her day. I've traveled from Washington, DC to PA a # of times & only stopped at this Rutter's once or twice. Tonight was the 1st time I've EVER encountered blatant racism & disrespect from BOTH cashiers on duty. A young lady & Thom. I purposely stopped at this location because it's the halfway point and by the time I got here I need snacks to keep me energized. I walked in, went straight to the restroom, grabbed bunch of snacks and went to the register. After they didn't have the chips my son wanted, I put all my stuff down at the register that had the closed sign. Cane back in and grabbed another bag of chips. Went to the line, stood there while an older man clocked out. A minute or 2 later another younger guy came up to the closed register and said who's stuff is this. Mind you I'm standing in line. There was a bottle of wine with the stuff and he said I cant ring that up at this register, she'll have to....okay cool so I grabbed my stuff. Stood back in the line where I was standing originally and another older man was standing to my right. Once she was done with the first customer the older man walked up. He had a can of soda or beer. She began to ring him up so I said...HELLO CAN SOMEONE RING ME UP? I said did you see me standing here? She replied well I cant tell him (referring to the man) where to stand I went back to Thom's line and just said forget the wine I just need to be rang up. He rang my stuff up, I paid with my card and left. I have never been this disrespected by a bunch of people in my life. She didn't care, Thom didn't care and pretty much brushed off the fact that any of this happen. It's sad that we live in times like this when people in customer service positions have such nasty disrespectful attitudes. But because I wanted my stuff, I paid for my stuff, $18.15 but I promise I will NEVER step foot in this place again! He offered me a free beverage or something. My review was not to get anything free but to let management know about my experience. Fast forward: 3/20/2020 I vowed that I would NEVER step foot in this place again but to my surprise my after picking up my son from college yesterday he wanted to stop and get a bite to eat and again because it's the halfway point between PA and DC. Reluctantly, I stopped. This visit was much different than my last visit. The staff was welcoming as we entered the store. I also noticed how much diverse the staff was which was a plus,they were all friendly and quite helpful. I'm glad this visit was different. It felt good to even feel like my business was appreciated. Update: I received a call from the corporation, and I'm pleased to say that they don't condone this kind of behavior. They apologized and seemed very sincere about it, and I appreciate that. Hopefully this marks a sharp improvement in the future. read more

This is a regular stop for me when I come up I-83 on my way home (via US 30 east). It's right along the route for convenience (easy access), about the cheapest gas I see in this part of the country (under $3.50 at the time of this review, very few places matched it that I saw in 3 days, none beat it), and the best part is the fresh food station. You can customize your order (subs, breakfast, dinner, and more) in so many more ways than other places, and then you have all the convenience store goodies in the other part of the store. I'm reviewing this as an overall "pit stop" business, and in that regard, it's one I'll always make when I need it. read more

The women's bathroom at this location was absolutely disgusting, what looked like vomit on both toilets seats and floors, garbage can overflowing, toilet paper all over the floor, counter top was completely soaked and both paper towel dispensers were empty. When I informed the clerk she was very polite and just said thank you for letting us know we will get to it when we can. I also pushed the button in the bathroom that says "cleanliness is our utmost priority" if not clean please let us know by pushing the button. read more

Nice gas station they have 8 pumps total good sized parking lot and a conscience store. Inside they have a full food service station with everything you can think of. read more

Ordered nachos for lunch here. The toppings looked like they had sat out all night and there was barely enough to even notice what i had ordered on them. The meat and cheese was cold and chips soft. Worst nochos ive ever had. read more
